I'll sign. Wouldn't want something bad to happen to my game or system.
That's the issue that PS3 gamers don't understand. All the money spent if we do not acquire this can possibly be blown. We have adequate enough space by far.
Yet later after the game comes out you will read thread after thread of people saying how their console is being destroyed, how they want install feature.
I don't remember being able to install any game onto my PS3.. Does the PS3 itself even support this function? I remember people begging for a party chat feature for years, and then finding out that the reason why there is none is because the PS3 lacks the amount of RAM to run it.
I'm all for being able to install any and every game to my hard-drive if it'll improve the gameplay.
I think as rob said that the Developer has to initiate the availability.
It's all on Treyarch basically.
So when Vonderhaar said he was 'interested' in Robs' suggestion at COD XP he was either:
1) Lying to shut Rob up, because he was backed into a corner and in full blown agree-to-anything PR mode.
2) Was interested but is now no longer interested, and so will now avoid the issue until release or...
3) Is still interested and is currently evaluating the feature along with the top-notch PS3 Dev Team and simply isn't prepared or isn't allowed to comment on the matter yet.
Choose wisely...
My heart wants #3 but my head tells me it'll probably be #2.
I plan on Tweeting him a link to this thread maybe once a week - be great if others could do the same.

I will also Tweet him the Thread. It is much needed feature. Seriously, if he cares about all gamers ( not questioning that ) then he would help us out so we don't have to worry about our systems possibly breaking due to MP constantly forcing our consoles to overwork themselves.
Please Vahn, help us make our consoles last a little bit longer.
@skips,
Great use of your first post.
This is highly needed. I had my PS3 WHINING for a break. It was trying so hard to stay cool.
