Getting rid of the Killwhores

They are a plague to this game, and need to be kept away from any and all objective game modes. After trying to play MW3 tonight (again), I've realized why I stopped playing to begin with: Shitty Connections and Kill Whores I simply cannot enjoy my favorite game mode anymore (Domination) without at least half the people treating it like TDM, and the other half too stupid to know how to properly capture a flag point (but that's another rant). I really would like to see an effort from Treyarch to either minimize their impact in games, or better, completely flush them out of the game modes. Here are a few proposed ideas that I've seen mentioned, many of which I think are Viable: Remove Kills and Deaths from the leaderboards in Objective Based Game Modes. Afterall, if I'm playing domination, I don't care about that player who went 45-5, but failed to capture a single point. I care about the player who goes 10-15 but has 5 captures. That will help a lot IMO. No Kill/Death count means nothing to show off in videos, and no number to brag about to friends. Remove K/D influencer from Objective Games. What this means is, make it so that Objective Game Modes do not count towards your K/D Ratio. Any Kills or Deaths you get are basically negligible. They show up in your Combat Record, but they aren't factored into your K/D. Reduced XP per kill in Objective Game Modes. Currently in most of them, it's something like 100xp per kill. Let's cut that in half. 50xp per kill, and then give a 50% increase to objective captures so that the XP they award makes up for the reduced XP per kill. Same with Kill streaks. Make it so that someone capping objectives earns kill streaks faster than some douche sitting behind a motion sensor for half the game. Remove Kill Streaks from the Objective Game Modes. Personally, I wouldn't mind this one, but I know it won't be popular. Nonetheless, I included it just for the sake of completeness. This one would work because people wouldn't have a reason to sit there and play for kills over points. Now onto some more specific Game Mode issues (these can be addressed in addition to the above solutions): Capture the Flag - Currently it's too easy for someone on your team to take the enemy flag, and then camp at the base while the team racks up kills, making it impossible to finish the match. So, again, here are a couple ideas to fix this: 1) If you've held the flag for x period of time without capping it, a teammate can "take" the flag from you for the capture themselves. 2) If you've held the flag for x period of time without capping it, it automatically respawns at the enemy base. Sabotage - This one can mostly be fixed through any of the above mentioned fixes, but I'd also consider lowing the time limit for it. Demolition - Everyone's favorite Killwhore mode. I honestly say we just scrap the mode altogether tbh. It always leads to spawn killing issues, and needs redone anyway. More centralized bomb locations, better spawning algorithm, and a new scoring structure. These are just my own ideas (and some I've seen in the past), so feel free to add your own or leave your thoughts on this.
