What things should be fixed and considered before Black Ops 2 arrives.

Knife lunging is still somewhat ridiculous.

Tuning the damage down from the original MW3 high damage was, IMO, not a great idea. All guns seemed to have Stopping Power in it which made each gun in the gun pretty powerful and equal. So it was a balanced system, since whatever weapon you used it would be powerful no matter what.

I actually figured out ONCE IN A WHILE that I'll stick someone and he doesnt die from the explosion. But this happens to me only once in a long long long time.

Spawning right next to a gun battle and dying right away. Or being spawned to close to the enemy and he/she kills you.

 

     These are the only major things I see. Add whatever you guys think should also be done. But these are just my concerns.

    Agree.

    Now example in MW3 in the map Foundation you spawn and get killed.

    You have one spawn place where you spawn really so near that snipers always spawn kill.

    1 match i got spawned 1 sec and killed and so the whole match.

    The matchmaking and connectivity issues. Maybe addressing the size of hitbixes so the weak will not have it so easy this year ( I refuse to believe they are the same as every year). Address hit detection.

      No sir. Making every weapon do extremely high damage isn't balancing, it's catering to those that can't win gun fights that don't end after 1-2 bullets.

       

      Gun's also should not be equal. Each gun should offer something a bit different than the rest. One gun might do more damage, but have higher recoil. One gun might have 0 recoil, but do little damage. This is one thing i really couldn't stand about MW3, there wasn't much diversity in weapons especially since all weapons had proficiencies which pretty much make all weapons the same.

    I still blame theatre mode for making the original Black Ops lag (bad framerate) so bad - I think thats why theatre options were cut down in MW3 and it was made local to hard drive rather than up to their servers.

     

    That will need to be addressed for BO2.

      @robsstang: I think they will renew the version of theater that is in MW3... Hopefully. Vahn admitted that hit was causing strain to bandwidth ingame. It's nice to have how it was in Black Ops, but not at the expense of poor functionality and performance.

    The only thing that really bothered me about BlackOps was the fact of the severe lag that happened when you become host.  Although it was better after patches, it was still noticeable.  Other than that, I enjoyed the game immensely.  It was definitely better than MW3 imo.

    Bring knife lunges back to World at War distance.

    Decrease how powerful stealth perks are.

    Give shotguns unlimited range.

    Increase hip-fire spread of assault rifles.

    Decrease the recoil of LMG's.

    Decrease mobility of assault rifles.

    Keep weapon damage similar to BO.

    Larger, more open maps.

     

    Done.

     

    Oh, and more semi-automatic battle rifles.

      I can agree with all, except the Lunge. There should be no lunge availability...period. plus I would like to note that ALL NON SHOTGUNS should have a 20-30% accuracy MAX when hipfired with out Steadily Aim. Only with SA should it increase to 50% on ARs and SMGs.

    I would also like to add. Remove the redundant in-game friends list. We already have a SEN list that is working our PS3s to track friends, we do not need another for just one game filtering those who aren't playing the game and those who are. It lagged the system so bad last game, it caused freezes, and it was bad when you got a invite or a message.
