Sounds like they are trying to cater to people who want to play 1v1 or 2v2 with maps similar in size to Rust.
Don't think its Barebones either because there were pointstreaks being earned in those gameplays.
Sounds interesting, so I guess the Face Off mode will be available for everyone on the 15th, but you only get the two free maps to play on if you don't have Elite premium? And then you can essentially purchase the other two on the 22nd?
And they limit this mode to four maps, even though size and spawnpoints of every other map qualify for "engage pretty quickly". This is beyond ridiculous
