Apparently an update came out for PS3 players.

Can someone please confirm if it is the new matchmaking system & if it has made any noticeable differences in terms of connectivity?

Would like some opinions on it before it hits the XBOX 360

Oh ok.

There have been threads popping up after the patch regarding parties & matchmaking so I assumed it had something to do with the new matchmaking update.

OMFG! this video here is a prime example what is wrong with this game, not a single hitmarker.

This is pretty standard for me. At long or medium range the lack of hit registration is less noticible because the fight/death happens quickly. But usually I get several hitmarkers (or like this clip, the first several rounds don't register at all) only to be casually sprayed down by my enemy. The kill cam shows me land only the first shot, with zero flinch from their weapon.

When you are anticipating an enemy coming around a corner (ADS with an assault rifle) and then get outgunned by a pistol, something just isn't right. Or how about a shotgunner running through 3-4 rounds (with hitmarkers) from my SMG to drop me like a bad habit in one shot (or knife me).

Ghandi, please understand this is a normal occurance (in varying extremeties) for me and countless other players. We hope the improved matchmaking will help.

I'd turn on theatre and record some of this crap but that just makes it worse.

The Content Calendar has STILL NOT BEEN UPDATED - we were told it would be by yesterday - Tuesday 8th May!!

When can xbox owners expect to get their May content drop???

I am BORED of the Elite playlists - just 6 maps and no ability to select exactly what game mode you want. I am so fed up with playing TDM - It is a Campers game mode!!! They are so worried about K/D ratio and getting their kill streaks!!! No objective to go for!!!

It would be better if you rotated the game modes and players vote for MAP only - I get really fed up and often keep jumping lobbies to find different game modes but it seems that TDM is the most common option!! I have been in some lobbies where you end up playing 5+ TDM matches in a row!!!

However I would MUCH prefer it if the Elite options reverted back to the original option of being able to select the game mode you want to play! I notice that the lobbies change so many times due to other players not wishing to play certain game modes - this doesn't help matchmaking and host migrations happen VERY frequently too!
