What single shot or burst weapon are you looking forward too

Since this is slightly in the future I'd be happy if they bring back the Mk14, and I'll be even more happy if they bring back an even somewhat effective M16.

 

I've learned in the CoD seriest that taking the time and effort to learn how to use a high powered weapon, even if it's a bit slow, can really but a hurt on slow reacting rushers.

 

So what singles shot or burst weapon would you like to see

    I would actually love to see the M16s rate of fire switchable. I can't really say otherwise because I have absolutely no clue where this game is going to take it regarding weapons.

      The only game I've ever played that had the firing mode switchable was Ghost Recon, I think in their earlier games you could change the firing rate and I never had it on full auto

    For semi-auto I'd like the FN Fal to make a return. For just any gun period I'd like to see the Robinson Armament XCR.

    The Colt 1911 and it better have very amazing 3 dot sights similar to those of the CoD4 1911.

     

    (The sights in the First Black Ops were horrible)

    I'm so pro so I'm waiting for an even more advanced version of Type 95. Just kidding, I use the M16 a lot in almost every Call of Duty, MW1, MW2, Black Ops... and sadly I don't even play MW3 a lot anymore to even remember if there is an M16 in it LOL.

    I'm hoping for the return of the FAMAS, but not as a ridiculously OP fully auto laserbeam, but like the MW2 version =) I really liked the MW2 FAL as well, with holo sight it was a 2 shot kill at all ranges with stopping power...

    I am looking forward to the M16 making a return; I just love the sights and overall look of that weapon; I also hope that the M14/Mk14 makes a return, always reminds me of its predeccessor, the Garand, which I loved.

    I just hope they have a decent amount of burstfire/ semi auto guns, mw3 was bad that way and it made me sad =[ =[ but i'd love to see the FAL return wooo!!! it's mw2 skin was beastly anyway heres a list of weapons that havn't appeared on cod, and i'd like to see them added http://www.mediafire.com/?y4i7qe28ad4ob hope you enjoy!!</p>

    i would like to see the m-16 and an upgraded version of the mk14. it would be nice to switch firing modes

    G3A3,

    SKS,

    Any M14 variant.

     

    Two or three of those would be fine by me. According to Treyarch dev' quotes, we're looking at plenty more guns and variants in BO2. Hopefully the future setting won't totally kill off the implimentation of some of my old favourites.

     

    I'd also love to see more WWII-era weaponry in zombies, which mainly consisted of bolt-actions and semi-automatic rifles.
