I've used the MK14 plenty of times, but...

Not like this before. I use the attachments profiency and slap on the supressor and rapid fire. Holy high hell, what a killing machine. And I love the headshot killer this rifle is. I really suggest you give it a try.
What effect does rapid fire have on a single shot rifle? I like the mk14 aswell and I'm gonna try this but I have used rapid fire before and felt no difference?
Cheers
all it does, i believe, is shorten the time between trigger pulls. its not all that noticible IMHO, or necessary. but then again i play HC and it is a OSK in most cases. i would rather use impact, and ACOG on it.
I call my MK14 class my "Clan Killer".. I can spank a whole clan with it, its funny when you hear their reaction after you kill them, im sure you heard it before "wowwwww"" or "oh my god" or "what the F*&^%" lol
It's hands down the best gun in the game to use...only when there's minimum lag, or you'll burn through ammo in just a few kills
Its a mega beast with silencer and thermal equipped.
I love the gun, but being single fire how effective you are with it depends hugely on the connection. You can probably say that about all the guns but I find the single fire makes it stand out. Good way to start a session though, gives you a good idea of how good or bad you are lagging!
MK14 is a monster with Rap Fire and Silencer.
On maps like Mission, Village Bak etc were your not ontop of the enemy all the time and can pop off a few long/medium shots, it's a killer. Even at long range 2 shots and there dead, lag permitting ofc. Though even in CQC it holds it's own. The rapid fire does make a world of difference.
It's kinda of a sniper but for those that can't QS at close range.
I can't use the iron sights on the gun, I need the red dot sight. I prefer extended mags + red dot. I used to use assault package with the MK14, with assassin as my 2nd tier perk. Since using specialist I've started using quickdraw instead and unlocking assassin in specialist. If you use sitrep pro as your third tier perk, you're able to get the jump on people up close, aswel as being able to dominate at long distance.
