Now I know a lot of people are not happy IF this game has future weapons in it. I think it would hurt the storyline as well as the series to go too much into the future. But consider this...PS I just copied and pasted some thoughts from an Amazon discussion I posted to. I thought this might be a better side to the story I never thought of.

You guys do realize that the narration takes place in 2025. Their is no real set date for the ACTUAL game. I mean you cant judge ANYTHING by watching what the trailer has.

Think of it this way. The guy is thinking back in the trailer and narrating about it in 2025. He could be describing a future in his own MIND and what is happening at THAT time. For example the future flying craft may only be available in 2025 but the game could be playing with NORMAL weapons right now and you are playing the game in the present.

As far as you know the trailer of his memories could be the onset of the game of what it COULD be because we need to secretly use Black Ops troops NOW to stop the terrorists from stealing the keys. and right NOW in the game we have present day weapons and present day aircraft. For example notice the drone plane scene, the horseback scene, the police car scene. Those look to me to be things that are in the game and happening as part of the campaign.

Some people could be assuming the campaign takes place in the future but we cant tell right now either way that it doesnt.

I mean we arent going to be running a campaign as some 110 year old man in 2025 in the game, Thats just the narrator talking.

I have no clients today and maybe one tomorrow so I am calling this my day off to play MW2, MW3, and Blops for hours at a time.

Does someone else have views on the trailer and how it may fit in ?

Please try to avoid the hated parts of this game or the series. I would like to see an intellectual discussion for even the "haters" of the series or of me .
