Night and inclement weather maps would be cool...

Am I the only one that loved Makin?

 

I think a night map would fantastic... or one where it's a massive storm with rushing wind and rain pelting everything. Fog... using it for cover to flank a nervous enemy who never sees you coming.

 

It would break up the monotany of crystal clear day in a construction zone.

 

Just a thought.

    Hell yeah. I would like the weather/day of time to change one maps. Like Jungle day, Jungle night, Jungle morning fog, ect.

    Many a time did ask for a "Makin Free Day".  It wasn't the night, it was the map. Daytime Makin sucked even worse. IMO, 3arch always tends to make the worst maps with night time effects.  They are probably sitting there thinking, well this map sucks, what do we do?  I got it, make it night time!

     

    I'm all for this concept though, I like the changes.  How about Jungle Snow?

    a night map could also bring in a flashlight attachment for the weapons or a glowstick could be interesting .

    ... I just hope they design with the end in mind.

    Glowstick... I like the way you think.... toss into a dark room and light it up.

     

    Reminds me of the flare from WaW.

    or a probe thinking of the film platoon was it called snake and nape a flare fired up into the air to eluminate a portion of the map for 60seconds .liking the idea of a night map very much. night jungle/village .

    It would be cool if they would have maps with changing weather and times.  Something like in Madden where it may be rainy or snowing.  Maybe the wind is blowing and creating dust storms.  I don't know how hard it would be to implement into the code of the game as I am not a programmer.

    i had a similar discussion about low visabilty maps for snd (only) to give it a better feel for planting the bomb, better use of cover and camoflouge. But i like the idea, id like to see some low visability maps for the game modes that offer only 1 life per round. intense blizards, fog, heavy rain, smoke/fires to give the game a better feel.
