For those that don't want Ghost/Assassin

Here is the BEST fix for this issue. MAKE THE UAV NEVER AVAILABLE UNTIL A PLAYER REACHES A 8 KILLSTREAK. Then it can still be shot down with TWO rockets. They can introduce a "personal UAV" after a 4 killstreak that is ONLY available to the player that gets it and it lasts for 30 seconds. Yes, that seems to be fair. No mini-map for dot chasers until they earn it. That is all.

    It would only be slow if the people got scared and didn't have a magical dot to chase after. I use Ghost a TON and I use it for getting in behind the running chickens and unload a clip of silenced weapon in their back while they are running after a dot.

    I take it you never played 6v6 TDM with 12 people using Ghost...SNOOZE FEST.

    I ONLY play HC TDM and it isn't a problem because I DON'T rely on the radar. I know where my teammates are and by deductive reasoning I can figure out where the enemies are. I DO NOT camp, but camping is a useful strategy for a weaker player. I myself like to hold down about a 1/4 area of a map and wind up with 20+ kills in TDM pretty much every game. It really is funny to me about all the people who whine and complain about getting killed by people in the same area because whose fault is it? The person holding the area DID NOT make the guy come back to the SAME SPOT again, it was a decision the other player made. If you keep coming to the same spot 12 times in a row, you're damn straight that I will be waiting for you.

     

    Camping = a person setting a claymore at one door and ADS'ing out the other

     

    Holding an area = a high traffic area players like to run to and by effectively cutting this route out, the other players on my team have a better idea where the enemies will be.

    so if you ever decide to play HC SnD and your last man and you have to defend the bomb from being defused do you still move around or sit and wait for the other team. if you gotta camp just camp but holding down an area isnt as bad of a sit and wait strategy i guess.

    I personally do not agree with having a personal UAV. UAV's should benefit the team. Having a UAV exclusive to one person ecourages less teamwork.

    Having said that, making a UAV an 8 killstreak seems unecessary as it is not much of a reward. A dot on a map is not a big deal.

    That is where you are WRONG. If a red dot wasn't such a big deal, then WHY does the Ghost perk get so much hate? ALL IT DOES IS REMOVE YOU FROM THE MINI-MAP. Basically you just stated my point. If the mini map wasn't so overused for chasing dots, then the Ghost perk would not be so much trouble for so many people.

     

    When you really think about it in Black Ops, the Ghost perk was actually the WEAKEST perk in the tier 1 slot. All Ghost did was make you invisible to the radar. Look at Flak Jacket, you could SURVIVE a grenade blast, Hardline got those choppers/napalms in the air quicker, lightweight let you scoot around the map faster, and scavenger basically gave you unlimited ammo. Ghost gave you NO PHYSICAL benefit.

    So if Ghost was so weak why did you use it a 'TON'...unless you wanted to gimp yourself.

    sorry man that's still camping lol

    if you have a line of sight from where you are.you can kill people from a far to.so really trying to get you out of your 1/4 (camping shot) of the map is a good idea.and i bet when you use deductive reasoning to tell where the person is coming from you ADS and wait......aka camping.
