CoOp Campaign for Black Ops 2

Is it possible to maybe get coop in the campaign of Black Ops 2? either online or splitscreen?

    Im not sure, but I remember playing WaW's coop campaign and it was fun. You also got to collect tattey cards which let you access cheats such as shooting paint balls.

    It will not be possible. Black Ops 2 campaign is open world, in order for a co-op campaign type feature in Black Ops 2 to be released it would have to be like spec ops, which has nothing to do with the storyline. It would be really dumb to make an open-world game co-op online, but maybe splitscreen it would be possible.

     

    Online would be very difficult, because the choices you make in the campaign effect the storyline, so let's say your squad-mate makes a very bad choice, that you would not had made, and it effects the storyline huge. Would you want that?

      You are misinformed. Black Ops II campaign is NOT open world. It has open world SEGMENTS called Strike Force.

    Would be quite fun but as IcyRapture said it will not be possible for the single player campaign mode. They would need to create a seperate game mode for coop campaign which I don't think they're doing

    Splitscreen is the only option, Black Ops 2 is going to have an open world campaign, the choices you make WILL effect the storyline, if you have another random person and he's making all these choices that you don't like you're not going to like the storyline one bit. Unless you got the person beside you and on your screen, and you're able to tell him 'don't make that choice' or 'make that choice wisely' etc. I wouldn't even bother

      That sounds bad.A multi player campaign on P.C. would be full of Hacks and Mods of every kind. A multi player campaign with out single player campaign. If were protected from hacks it might be better. Got me wondering. There could be bad host connection, lost connection, lagggg...back outs near the end which stop the game. Sounds more like Spec ops with its issues.This whole game will be on line game play, no offline? If the blk ops2 server goes down thats it?

        The campaign wont be online only,  It will be a single player offline campaign but it would be cool to if you could play online with a friend like in Gears or something. It would be equally cool if you could splitscreen the campaign like in WaW. That would be prefered over online by me personally.

    It would be awesome. how hard can it be to do this? It might not make sence but who would care? It would be great fun
