Why no blops2 for wii or wiiU?

Why does all other systems have blops 2 open for preorder, but not the wii or the wiiU. 3ARCH will make millions. Everyone is gonna be buying the wiiU. What about the people that have only the wii and cant afford the wiiU. I think this needs to be looked at and descussed... Please give me your ideas and feedback...

    Sales for the Wii are under a million units.

    I'm assuming because Nintendo have opted out of having it mainly because the Wii is trying to move away from mainstream games like COD and use more of their own brand of exclusives. The Wii doesn't want to compete with PS3 or Xbox, that's why it's based around exclusive games and that's why it's been so succesful.

    I remember during WaW, I believe the sales figures were that the Wii made up 20% of WaW sales. I would only assume Black Ops would have MORE Wii Sales, despite earning a lower % due to increased popularity. Still, CoD is a decent Wii game. They need a shooter like that on there. In any case, why isn't it for the WiiU/

      Wii only sold 0.45 million for MW3.

       

      23.5 million sold for BO between 360 and PS3... only 1.2 million for Wii.

       

       

      Not a shooter console.

      I don't see why they do? If you want to play a decent shooter game don't buy a Wii is the mentality that NINTENDO! pretty much have. The Wii doesn't want to be mainstream because the people who buy the Wii now aren't really mainstream gamers. Also gotta remember Ninetendo would have to pay activision to have it ported to the Wii which probably isn't something developers want to do.

    I went to my local gamestop to buy Metroid Other M at a great price.  While ringing up my order the manager goes through the usual preorder sphiel and he said that Black Ops 2 was coming to the 360 and PS3 and he thought for Wii.  He decided to look it up and it turns out that the game is actually coming out for the Wii U.

     

    Seems like this is coming out for Wii U but as some figured it is probably under NDA.

      If it's coming to the Wii why not announce it straight out? Why not create a sub forum for it on the forums? Does make any sense to keep it secret considering the Wii U is already announced and if anything it would come out on that and NOT the Wii

        Probably because Nintendo is wanting to do the unveil.  They have been commited to recapture the "hardcore" market again.  Plus even though we know about some of the games that are coming out we don't really have any solid information about them other than the Rayman leak last week.

         

        Like I said this was just my conversation with my local Gamestop.  It at least gives Wii players some hope.

      didn't think so to but this guy is a little optimistic i'll buy wiiu i mean i'm a nintendo fan but everyone is kinda optimistic. in terms of speaking everyone had a wii (like 93 milion units wich was almost double of what the ps3 sold so yeah but the same with wiiU i dont think so

    I guess MW3  was officially revealed for wii about 3 months after ps3 and the 360. So... hopefully black ops 2 will be the same thing and be revealed a little while after.

    Guys, Girls, they might not make it for Wii or Wii U because Wii U is not even released until AFTER  Black Ops 2 is released, and there are too many features and it would take too much time to release it for the low quality, bad processing Wii. So many things would have to be taken out it wouldn't even be Black Ops 2, they would have so much trouble transfering it over to the Wii from what they've made it to for PS3, 360, and PC.

      we dont have a release date on wiiU yet and its going to be BEFORE xmas shopping so thats before beginneng of december but after september and this was comfirmed so it could release between  oct 1st and nov 31st but most likely around AC3's release because aparently UBISOFT is making a big deal out of wiiU and well they were woking with nintendo on best possible release dates when they had the roundtable at E3 2011 and i agree on the wii part it would be boring as hell on wii NO DRONES TO CONTROLL AND NO TANKS al though tanks might be possible but unlikely I WANT IT ON WIIU

        Actually, the Wii U is rumoured to be released on November 18th, that is before Christmas. Wii U I personally will not buy, it's something new but it's just now going to have a disk drive CLOSE to bluray and it is just now getting graphics like PS3 and 360, Nintendo is far behind on their electronics, while they make a system that can handle good graphicss PS4 is being made (actually confirmed). Xbox 720 is 'rumoured' to be being made, but is not confirmed.

          you say it yrself RUMORED   and it has graphics as good (if not better (gearbox studio that makes the new aliens game said that the wiiU version looks slightly better then others)   and well ps4 wil not crush the competition like everyone thinks sony is in big trouble and i know that you guys think that it isnt a big deal but losing that much money i think if they hadn't had playstation they would be over by now.

    the first black ops for wii looked like boxy ****  compared compared to the xbox version so i dont think thell do that again (no offense treyarch)

      i would say about 85 percent of wii players are not even old enough to play this game and im very tired of 4 year olds in cod lobbies. TREYARCH make an im 4 and i scream like justin bieber with a can of hileum and im just gonna have a **** fit over everything lobby or IM4&ISLAG lobby

    I feel for the Wii players because playing shooters on the Wii is fun as hell. there is probably going to be a whole lot of new stuff coming with blackops 2 and just for the fact Wii needs it's own development team to pretty much dumb down the game to make it work on Wii just isn't worth it, especially if they are using a new engine. I could be wrong and they could very well be developing it for WiiU but are keeping it hush hush.

      Yeah it most likely will along with AC3 and stuff (AC3 is basically the 5th -.-)

      Nintendo is behind on their consoles but this could be a nice comeback

    Call of DUty 4, WaW,CoD 3,MW3, and Black Ops are all on Wii so why would this game be the exception?

    i dont get why you all want a wii version. even though i'm a nintendo fanboy you cant argue that it'll suck on wii becuase we wont have tanks we wont have the "charlene" drone and all that good stuff and wiiU will.

     

    so please stop whining and start saving up for a wiiU
