Skill is a BS statement by the devs team when the pump / lever action shotties get constant hitmarkers while people aimed centre mass cqb, I cuddle people with these guns with damage on constantly, Skill is irrelevant when the game makes these guns unreliable / inconstant (what they are with damage) and purely retarded pre-damage. So yeah, fixing this problem by A making them more powerful and B more accurate adsed (spread of 4 at least), would not mean they won’t need skill to use. Their slow fire rate and limited range means they always will, like the spas with extended mags glitch did, you still need superior movement and aim, you just actually get rewarded for it constantly. The devs team is retarded to even think buffing such slow guns would mess up weapon balance when we can use RF smgs and secondary machine pistols akimbo.

I just change my upload speed on my router to 200Kps and it works the same.  I've posted this a couple of times but it gets ignore 99% of the time.  Bandwidth shouldn't have anything to do with the lag compensation since is based of ping but it does.

I agree - I want to see the NEW maps appear more frequently and have been impressed so far by the quality of all NEW maps - they are in my opinion some of the best maps in MW3 - Sanctuary is also one of the best looking maps ever and love the little 'sound' easter eggs.

I hope the rest of the Maps are NEW and keep up this quality.

I too would love to know when we are getting the new Maps and when they will be announced - it would give us something positive to focus on and look forward to. Its going to be a long 6 months until Black Ops 2 and the monthy content releases will help.

It seems that since Robert Bowling left Information about the content has dried up. We had teaser images, and videos but Aprils content seemed to appear overnight. We this happen again for subsequent releases... There is usually notfication about the collection drops (for non-subscribers) but have heard nothing since collection 1 (will they be getting collection 2 in May - 6 Maps??)

I do agree that the SG's are not the best (compared to previous CoD's) but that could be down to Lag/synch issues. Until this is fixed however, I don't think we can ask for them to 'buffed' as I wonder if some/all of the inconsistencies are due to this.

GHANDI has taken this to the Developers and they have made their decision. If you don't like it, use a different weapon or play a different game. Either way leave it until after the lag/synch issue is fixed and then maybe revisit this argument. You are not supporting it very well when you get 1000's of kills with them!!

The game performance drop on PS3 you mention is likely due to people being matched with others who have purchased DLC. As more DLC is sold this will stabilize.

 

We also provide the option to disable DLC if you're playing at a time of night when not many players are on line.

And for those of us who have not purchased the DLC? I, nor any of my friends, have it and the game (on PS3) has been almost completely unplayable for the past week or two. Maybe 20% of matches we get in to have an acceptable connection. It has gotten to the point where we will get on and play maybe 2 or 3 games before deciding its not worth it and quitting. I have never been so frustrated with a game before.

ok i'm genuinely curious, do people here still think the lag in this game is ever getting fixed?  Do the people who's opinion is "wait til they fix lag before they fix anything else" even know that they have been actively working on fixing this issue for 6 months?  Do they even know they've released ~7 patches that were suppose to address this and the general opinion i see in this thread is that nothing has changed?  After all of this, i routinely see people come into this thread every other day saying the exact same thing, that this game is unplayable and that they are going to stop playing (they don't of course cause of low willpower or something)
