I like most of your ideas, however I don't agree with players joining in mid game.

One thing that I have always wanted to do is to be able to upgrade your weapon more than once or customize it to your own specifications. I think upgrading it should add another custom skin and also do more damage and add additional ammunition. (But it should also cost more with each time it is upgraded). This would make it easier for players at higher levels because as of now upgraded weapons do little damage when higher levels are achieved. I don't want the upgraded weapons to not make the game a challenge, but it would give players a fighting chance at higher levels. As for customizable weapons, it would be nice to have the option to add your own optics or attachments to the weapon. (For a price of course). I say this because each player is good with their own customized weapon. I mean you can do it in multiplayer, so why not in Zombies?

Id love unlimited upgrading, just exponential growth in price like each time it doubles so first 5000 then 10000 then 20000 and so on. Also never ending is part of what zombies is... jus sayin.
