Make a perk to counter ghost? Why? So that your killstreaks get kills or so that you know exactly where everybody is? Like I said before, there's no ghost (or even a counter to ghost) then people are going to sit inside buildings and camp to aviod getting killed by killstreaks and/or carry rocket launchers to shoot them down. Either way, your kill streaks won't get kills.
Get real man. Keep in mind, our soldiers in the battlefield can't just glance up and to the left to see a mini map, let alone be able to see exactly where the bad guys are. If that was the case, bin laden would have been found within a matter of days after 9/11, not almot ten years.
Ghost makes the game more real. You have to check your corners and have a direct line of sight to the enemy in order to know exactly where he is. If you don't check your corners and you get shot by a camper, that's your fault, not the developers for putting ghost in the game. Look, you can't know exactly where everybody is at every given monent in time. Think about it, our Spec Ops teams use stealth to their advantage. When the enemy doesn't know where you are, their lack of knowledge makes the job of getting behind enemy lines easier so you can complete missions.
Bottom line - If soldiers in real life scenarios don't know where the enemy is, then why should you have that knowledge in a game that's supposed to be a reflection of real life? If you don't want the realism, then go play halo.
