Sometimes you just have to enjoy something for what it is. Whether it's set in 2025 or 3035, as long as the gameplay is solid, I'll be a buyer. All I hope for is that they keep vehicular combat out of Call of Duty; if they even so much as add anything driveable in MP (besides temporary killstreaks), I'm out.
It's not supposed to be sooo realistic you go that far into like how much money we have and stuff, espcially compared to a video game. In a video game, the world is either in a crisis and the money comes from nowhere or it's a perfect world.
I would be ok with a 3035 time frame. As for the vehicular combat thing it appears to be like you are SOL my friend. We don't know about multiplayer yet, but it will be in campaign from what I have gathered from information based on the video and the ever so trust worthy interwebz (sarcasm about the trust of the internet)![]()
2025 is just perfect, stuff like that will be old in 3035. I would like combat training back that'd be fun, same system with it, change map game rules, customization, 3arc clan tag. You should gather your information from what's been said the most, search around forums and stuff ![]()

I have faith that combat training will be back, lets hope its updated with new game rules, etc.
I have to respectfully disagree that 2025 is perfect due to unlikley hood of described events in the trailer occuring in that year. Basically because I personally don't see technology like that in the US military in a short years time (which you probably know by now).
We have become such good friends so fast hahaha
True its just a game i like treyarch trying to go away from the norm and changing it up, tired of buying the same game over and over. If you want to play the same game just change up COD disc from time to time. love the new stuff and clearly the is the campaign so the multiplayer is probably basically the same so don't hate on a product that has to this point really only posted 2 minutes of footage for a game that has not even been fully developed? give them a break and but it if you want but don't hate on something you really don know nothing about, looks fun and differnt from the same old shoot the enemy in differnt spots over and over every year, love new elements. btw treyarch once the award for best ending to a video game ever by genesis book of world records so im sure they can make an OK game. go complain about the 60 dollar repeat of mw2 instead,
Technology is moving faster every year.
Things in that trailer we DO have...
Unmanned recon aircraft .
Helis with double sets of blades are two examples.
As well as the fact that after watching a one minute video people are making the assumption that ALL of this game takes place in one years worth of time. This game could be a 50 year span of things to come.
Too much assumptions deciding a game is worthless just over a one minute trailer.
They're called Quad Rotors and it was a 2 minute trailer. Just correctin' ya
Anyways I know I keep telling people that but they still judge the game and say it's dumb because the trailer.
