WHO ELSE SEARCHES 50MS PING AND GET MATCHED UP WITH..........

Hey guy's ive noticed recently that im having serious matchmaking problems, i search 50ms ping and get matched up with all nationalitys Germany,France,Italy,Spain,Netherlands,.....The list is endless and to make it worse as well as these guys having about 125ms connection for being so far from the UK they also get lag compensation too so they will kill u in a couple of bullets were other people it takes a full clip to kill them if your lucky... anyone else had these issues......? WE NEED TO RAISE THIS ISSUE WITH THE DEVELOPERS!!!!
"Welcome to the party, Pal!". Everyone has this issue. It has been raised and nothing has been fixed it.
And to make things worse R Bowling has resigned ...prob because the developers wouldn't listen to him when speaking for his community, its gone to the dogs for sure!!!!!

Its amazing to me how everyone loves Bowling after hes gone. He was a bag of fail. Didnt even play his own game to know what was wrong with it. Like if you want to build a car hiring someone that likes legos.

you are assuming he did anything for this community... it's not like he even played the game to even have half a clue about what the community was bringing up.
Did you only just buy the game yesterday?
Things have gotten so bad I can't play mw3 anymore.
No ive had the game since launch, but noticed severe issues with matchmaking after this most recent update.
How fast is your Internet?
Also, does anyone actually know how the ping works and what the bars mean?
I Have 60mbps down and 6 mbps up which is pretty fast fibre optic broadband, my ping runs at about 8-16ms which is also very fast. basically the smaller the ping the faster the connection which is why when you search for 50ms ping you should be connected to people in the area so if your from the UK and you search 50ms ping you should be connected to other people in the same area/connection but the matchmaking is broken hence why were getting matched with all nationalities that will be 125-150 ping depending on the distance. also with the lag compensation that these guy's will have it will be difficult for you to kill them but easy for them to kill you!
This is what I'm talking about. If I join a <50 lobby, I expect everyone else to be less than 50... but it still have terrible lag comp, even when everyone has a 4bar. I have also had matches where I am the only person with a 4bar and I'm not even the host.
Its so frustrating, I can tell in the first couple of kills wether the game has lag compensation, when you run into someone at the same time and you can't even lift your weapon before your dead!!!!! I call BS on that.
...and that's why I can't play anymore.
it's utterly amazing how there is always an excuse for getting killed. All you kids always have one... never fails. It couldn't be that the guy actually had faster reflexes or that you just got beat... no always an excuse.
Kids? im 33 and know what im talking about along with millions of other people who are having connection issues at the moment so wind your neck in and tune in!!!

Once playing search I was lms an planted the bomb, set up my claymore and waited. I heard my claymore go off and went to the bomb. Their last guy was attempting to diffuse it, so I emptied a mag in his back. He got up and killed me. In the kill cam, he laid down, began to diffuse, got up and killed me, I never fired a shot.
Same but I dont lag as much as you do.
And how do you know that you dont lag as much as i do...?
People cant actually search 50ping O_O when ever i search for a game it jumps straight to 100+ and i live in seattle...
I have a 105Mbs down and 20Mbs up connection and since the past few updates I cant get a <100ms connection... The lag is unreal... I used to get <50ms connections all the time but now its near impossible... I live in a large city so dotn tell me no one near Miami is playing MW3 online...
I Feel for you pal since the last update the game is virtually unplayable the devs need to back up and undo the mess that is now MW3![]()
Here is what is interesting i find, you come in to a 50ms lobby, back out, search again, skips 50ms and puts you into the same lobby as 75ms, which one is it? This is not a random event, this happens very often, very interesting indeed.
So the first time i searched, the lobby was indeed 50ms 30 seconds later, it became a 75ms lobby, i would love to see how the code has been written for this, if, then or else, i was not aware constants could be defined in a routine as maybe's
How about this! ... My clan will plan a "take over a server." I know that is not accurate, but that is what we call it. 6 of us start a lobby, we invite 6 more clan members in. Once we are the only players, we know we are all central or eastern us, all have high speed internet, none are cheating..... Bang! Lag just as bad as any other match! This proves that the issue is deeper than low ping and distance...... Try it!
Well one of you will have an under par connection causing the latency issues for sure!
I agree the issue is much deeper. Ping test hardwired is 10ms right? Play a few hours with this ping ( locally, however over distances it is 20 - 30ms well under the preferred 50ms ).
After a few hours, you are never picked as host, instanta deaths, Full clip kills and only hear 1 hit market, getting stuck on everything and lag lag lag. No problem.
Ping test wireless, 38ms, Play a few hours with this ping ( equally it is locally, over distances it willl be 50+ - 80ms and even higher ) well over the preferred 50ms )
After a few hours of game play, you almost always get host, you get hit markers on some plays and others none, some instanta kill deaths and some you kill with one round, lag has almost disappeared except for some rewind moments and speed slow downs, other then that game is smooth.
why would a game always choose higher ping and balance the match off of this, i understand how they try to balance it, this makes no sense, the host must also have acceptable bandwidth to host the match. There peer to peer code is broken completely.
Here is another interesting fact while testing.
Wired Connection, 10ms also produces ingame packet loss ( i.e they never get sent/returned on a 1 to 1 ration, and they are in large numbers dropped during game play.
Wireless Connection or high ping 38ms the packet drops, sent and returned is closer and equal to a 1 to 1 ratio.
Apparently if you have a good connection and do get picked for host you suffer for this and you get your ping slowed down on par with other people in lobby giving you a severe disadvantage as were getting matched up with 100-125 ms ping which makes the chances of you going positive virtually impossible!
Sorry to revive old post but this is interesting. These guys should be really close on connections. I see all kinds of variations of lag mainly due to activities on my end but anyone think maybe there are other implements at work? Non connection lag induced issues. Brainstorming but things like say you have been on a ong win streak, time to lag you so others can win. Or say you have been playing multiple hrs in a row, time to lag you and make the person who just got on line have the advantage. NON CONNECTION RELATED LAG/BOOSTING. It would appear like connection lag right? How would you tell the difference? Makes perfect business sense to me.
I played a private match with 3 people. Ping should be no more than 30 ms, but the host had maybe 200, 300ms lag advantage.
that's the way the IW5 engine is running at the moment the host is automatically set to be at a disadvantage!!
Been playin alot the past couple of days and noticed that its running alot better anyone else noticed this??![]()
