    Don't know if you're referring to me, but I'll definitely appreciate it should I get on the game again (haven't played for about a month now, just no motivation to do so). The Dragunov was my first Gold Weapon in CoD4 (not counting Desert Eagle), and I was disappointed it wasn't in MW2.

     

    It'll be nice to finally have a decent version of it in the game.

    Ghandi, is it possible to patch the spawn system with a physical patch (something that goes through certification)? If so, why hasn't there been one yet?

    I completely agree with you, the 1887 without range/damage is WORTHLESS!I always felt like punishing myself while playing with the 1887!After I got damage it's usable, but nowhere near OP or even good!The striker kicks a** though!I think it's still pretty OP-ish...

    MW3's entire spawn system [locations, rules, quirks and all] is, however, easily exploited by a team that works together.  It doesn't make it a good system, just a broken system that a subset of players don't find issue with as the broken bits either have no impact on their style, or actively favor their style.

     

    I think that is where Foxhound's different experience comes from, as he plays with a team that takes advantage of the system.

    How many times does Ghandi have you tell, shotguns arent changing!

    Ranting on this forum to each other isnt helping, your creating excessive amount of pages for no reason, and some important posts with legitimate questions are being missed because of this. Seriously guys lets call it a day with shotgun comments in this thread.

     

    IF you really have a compelling argument i.e. Brick2urFace I urge you as a fellow community member send the PM to Ghandi, dont post on this forum where 10 page discussions ensue about a buff that isnt going to take place. You should be happy Ghandi has mentioned the buff to the weapons team a number of times. Its not his fault they dont buff the guns.

     

    Honestly i cant believe foxhound hasnt intervened in this forum last night, it certainly went off topic, as i remember he said a month ago no more shotgun talk!

     

    Sorry to be blunt, and i mean no offence to shotgun people but someone had to say something, your fighting a losing battle.

    The only reason why I actively allowed the discussion is because Ghandi actually brought the discussion to the plate. The verdict has been made and for the mean time I would like shotgun discussions to come to an end. We're at least twice in the running for SG buff proprosals and they've been denied. From this point forward I think it's best if the devs approach that topic.

    Thanks, means my bug message might actually get seen instead of 10 pages of old material discussed 500 pages ago. Then again, I play on PC, doubt we'll get any patches/fixes soon. : PPPPPPPPP

    It was, unfortunately, something that I figured we should go through. Ultimately it's done. Make sure you're also commuicating your observations/issues with Ghandi via PM.
