Tacitus 2012 -> A new engine?

Hi quys,

At first I would like to mention this article is purely speculative, but still I think it's a very interesting theory and you probably would like to read it.

After some searching and decyphering on the mystery boxes on callofduty.com I have come up with the following theory:

Tacitus is a name commonly mentioned and referred to on the new callofduty site, while I was watching a movie on YouTube where someone somehow manages to translate the coordinates from the latest image into a location called Tacitus I saw a website coming by -> www.tacitus.com

It's a pretty vague website at first and there is barely a description on it of what it should be or what Tacitus is, but just to be sure I tracked down the website through my command prompt and whois. I found out that the website was originally registered by a guy named Howard Coale from NY, who worked at Tacitus as President & Chief Interaction Designer, a company that probably went down in 2009, but is supposed to be rising in 2012, as quoted from their website.

Up to this point, nothing interesting you think, however until I found Howard Coale's profile on LinkedIn where a description of the company was mentioned telling me they were specialised in 3D Design, modelling etc with video games. What if after the 'death' of the former Tacitus Project in 2009, they got in a coorporation with Activision and Treyarch and they have started a new Tacitus Project 2012, rising as quoted from the website. What if it all points out the name of the greatly improved or, perhaps, totally new engine developed for the new Call of Duty title -> Tacitus 2012?

Of course it's all pure speculation, but Treyarch has told us last year that big changes will impact their new Call of Duty title, what if they are about to announce the biggest change in history of the Call of Duty saga, a new engine. What if everything on the site is pointing out this new engine, without anyone thinking about it, because they never did something big like this before? If they would build a new engine, the game will probably attract a lot more gamers, who are now primarily not buying the game, because it looks so old and doesn't have new graphics and always is the same like the title before. It would break all their sales records and give the game probably all awards possible to win in video game world.

Once again, it pure speculation, but a truly interesting possibily and I wonder what you guys have to say about my theory!

Greetings,

Wonut

      In the video when FPS Russia showed the BO2 4 roter killstreak, he called it Charlene. and in the movie "Full Metal Jacket" there was a character named charlene and it was played by Gomer Pyle. and in WAW there was a Pvt.Pyle and he got "killed" but you really didn't see it. so maybe it has something to do with a return of him becasue he wasnt saved by your character.

        The f##k was that? Pyle is a character in the movie and he names his rifle Charlene.

        You think a man would act a woman in a Vietnam war movie, huh?

    'tacitus.com' says 'Black ops 2: Weapons manufacturer in the game. Not us.' in the bottom. while 'www.tacitus.com' doesn't...anything on that?

        tacitus.com has NOTHING to do with Black Ops 2.

        Their company had name tacitus -> thousands of emails pour in asking them about Black Ops and if they are Black Ops 2 manufacturer. So they update site saying they don't have anything to do with Black Ops 2.

        Still even after FPSRussia said tacitus has nothing to do with any website you guys keep thinking its involved....

    Or "maybe" they're responsible for the development of Elite 2.0, the only reason I draw this conclusion is that Activisions beachhead studio (who developed the first Elite) have not even been given a mention this time around.
