I'll never forget the first video game I played. Starfox 64. Good times. Remember after playing that game for a while I started to say some of the quotes like
"You're good, but I'm better!" -Wolf
"Did we get em?
"Not yet, sir!"- Caiman
Then I remember the first time I beat the real Andross and it was jaw-dropping to me when James Mccloud appeared and led Fox out of Venom.
So, what was your first video game and what was your most memorable moments?
im 34 y/o and been gaming for well over 20 years so trying to remember the first game i ever played is impossible lol
Then what was the earliest video game that you can remember playing?
Tetris. For the first 3 days that was the only thing I did. The longest I play without doing anything (2 weeks) else was Silent Hill 1.
Pac-Man was my first video game played. My uncle was up late one night and let me play it for a minute when I woke up and had to get a drink of water. That was back in 82'-83' time frame. I think that's when pac-man was first released.
One of the first games I played had some pigeon, or whatever, in it and it could crap on cars and stuff, and I used to love getting it killed just so I could hear the death tune, lmao. ![]()
Can't remember what it was called though, I was only about 5 at the time so was quite a few years ago.
Modern Warfare 5
The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario w/Duck Hunt on the NES for me.
Believe it or not..........PONG. Yeah, I'm that old.
Yup pong for me too
When I was a really young kid my parents had an intellivision that I payed and had Pitfall. The wierd part is Pitfall was what got me started on video games in general. When I finally got an NES I remember loving Ultimate Air Combat, The Three Stooges, and Super Pitfall.
Then I got a Super Nintendo and liked playing Aliens vs Predator, Pitfall the Myan Adventure, and Radical Rex.
When I got my PS one by far my favorite game was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and I also really liked Matt Hoffman's Pro BMX, and Pitfall 3D:Beyond the Jungle.
After all my years of gaming the Tony Hawk, and Call of Duty series are my favorite. Now you might be thinking, what's wierd about that? That is until you realize every single one of those games was published by Activision. I mean I've played Mario and Doom and things, but wow ...Activision's got a hell of a lot of money from me over the years. ![]()
my first and still my most played to this day (thank you oolite for the port) is a really old computer game called elite , most of you wont have heard of this unless your uk based and/or of a "certian age"
its basically a space trading/fighting game . and like all the fans have so far been waiting 20yrs for the elite 3 .. the game notch is makiing now (he of minecraft fame) is the same sort of thing so im hoping this will bring this type of game back into the public eye and get david brabham off his arse and away from making kinnectanimals
I think atari. My favorite game I played when I was younger though is Super Black Bass on the super nintendo.
Slippy must die. I hated that frog for some reason. She was never good for anything.
Who can forget "Do a barrel roll!"
Slippy was a he.
"Looks likes he's down on Titania!" - Peppy
Hah, yes I know Slippy is a he but it's funny cuz there was a huge debate with my best frien about slippy being a girl or boy. I've always called slippy a girl though.
Whoa. Didn't expect to get this many replies. ![]()
Cool.
the first game i can remember playing was donkey kong when i was 6 years old at an arcade.
console-wise, i believe it was frogger, pac-man, or dig dug on the atari 2600.
Some kind of Donkey Kong game for the Super Nintendo.
Don't know the first but one of the games I still can remember
Ranks right up there with Barnstorming.
