Forever stuck in a hole of a dropping KD/Accuracy %.

So, though the emergency TU did absolutely nothing for matchmaking or game play, I've foudn that turning my map packs off got me in games faster. Cool, right? Well, not so much. Still dealing with lag, and thought I'd just take advantage of some of that Double XP to at least prestige and get to level 20, to have specialist, and be set for when stuff gets fixed.

Well, Guess what my highest level gun is right now? The freakin' KSG at lvl 6. I'm Lvl 20 and my highest gun level is 6. My medicine's helped me keep my cool, and I've even started to just shrug the fact that my KD dropped drastically, seeing as how three weeks ago, I've maintained a 1.110 average. Which, You all on the forums are like,"Damn noob." But to me, that's pretty good for me seeing as how I don't really play FPS games much. But now within ten games, I went from 1.096 all the way down to 1.081.

I'd like to see if maybe Ban Candy or whomever at activision can reset those stats due to them working on their lag compensation, but that's basically a tough  S*** moment, I'm aware. But seriously. What if this game never gets fixed? I have to just swallow my pride and trade it in to some shitty ass gaming store that will make double the profit on what they'll give me for the game, or try my luck on a raigslist and deal with creepers? I shouldn't have to. I mean, I play black ops, and though the lag comp is kwonky to use an odd term to say it, but for the most part, it's really more managable then mw3 is. I at least maintain my 24.15% accuracy on there with out it constantly going down .5 points every game because of this lag comp. I mean, As a shitty gamer playing black ops as my first CoD MP since I had gotten an xbox about 3 years ago, but you know, it's really ruining the fun for me.

I really know when I'm bested, I really do, and I accept that as a challenge to try to better myself. But if everything's dead on, or grenades aren't even going off, stun grenades never go off, grenade lock ons follow a piece and just don't even acknowledge it even hit it, it just really pisses me off and sets me off, and it makes me think that's primarily the onyl reason why activision comes out with tehse games. Just to piss the **** off of people. lol This is my second rant, and I'm sure there will be trolls to just say I suck. And I'll admit, I'm not that great a player. Hell, with Blops being my first one, I'm 0.66 KDR. But I still go 1-2.0KD in every game on there now compared to constantly going in the negative, or barely breaking even in the games.

I just really would like to hope the devs plan on fixing it. I mean, I know they SAY they are fixing it, but I mean, I've played BIoshock 2's MP and was into their forums as well, and was told that they'd update a lobby matchmaking for people who bought the mp map pack for it so people could play it. and what happened there? They lead us on to believe it will happen, and then they wait two months of us waiting before saying,"Sorry, our team is focusing on other projects, and we won't be able to help you. Sorry you wasted your ten dollars, and we can't do anything for you to give you anything back." Which is exactly why I don't really support any 2K MP programs anymore. I enjoy the CoD Series. I used to hate it, and seeing as how I have seizures and I play the games on an SD TV and I have doctor permision to play these games is wonderful.

But if the game just constantly pisses you off, why should you play it, you know? I mean, you're thinking,"Oh, if it pisses you off, why play it?" Because I payed sixty dollars for the game that showed it hat so many promises that it would be improved, and I'll admit, I had absolutely no problems at first until all these other updates started coming up, then it's been hell. I thought it was my connection. No, it's the lag comp ruining my connection. thought my ports weren't forwarded to the xbox? Nope. Everything's open and spread eagle for that sweet, sweet, gaming loving. I even at some point thought it was my skill. And I've been sober for a long time now, and even if my shots are dead on, and they don't register. Please. Please.

I'd like to hope you devs are working hard on fixing the matchmaking so I can enjoy the DLC I bought, and at least make the lag comp a little more tolerable. Forget balancing the guns and stuff, you did what you could, and it's enough for now. Focus on the connection issues before you focus on gameplay mechanics.  And whoever reads this, I'm sorry you read this long rant, as you'll probably be miffed and just want to try tearing me a new one on wasint your time, but I've got no one else to rant to, and this is perfect for me. So, if you click on it and read it, and want to ***** to me about it, just go on and think to yourself...You were the one who clicked on this forum post to see what had to have been said by another forum member bitching about the game.

Edit: I hope you trolls enjoyed the edit. As stated in the whole discussion, it was posted more for just ranting reasons. I'm perfectly fine with my grammar, but it's pretty obvious I'm irritated at the game, so errors are bound to happen.

That has got to be the biggest wall of text ever, try laying it out better so I can read and possibly reply.

Well I read and tbh you are having the same problem as most of the community, not much else I can say.

It's okay. I feel some of your pain, just not very often. Earlier this week me and some friends (none of whom are stellar) couldn't go positive 7-8 games straight. We tried different lobbies and party leaders and had no luck. I'm not really sure what happened, but it hasn't happened since.

I feel your pain. Between work, exercise, errands, & time with loved ones, finding time for gaming isn't always easy, so I get pretty irritated when game makers waste my gaming dollars & my limited gaming time on defective games.

Try not to let your performance (K/D, W/L, etc.) in a defective game get you down though... That's like feeling bad for losing a car race when the car you had to race in had 4 flat tires & an empty tank of gas.

Eh, my K/D is in the toilet too. But it's not my K/D itself that bothers me. Honestly, I wouldn't be bothered if my K/D was as low as 0.5 IF I knew that I actually got every kill & death that I deserved...

...And that's what bothers me about MW3: it's the fact that there are far too many kills I don't get that I should get & far too many deaths I get that I shouldn't.

All I can do is line up my gun sights at targets & pull the trigger. What MW3 does after that is out of my control.

Your MW3 stats (like K/D, W/L, etc.) are more a reflection of MW3's poor performance, not yours.

I can understand how you might be frustrated with your K/D and accuracy dropping, but it does happen from time to time. I've experienced it, too. The Double XP weekend also might be part of your problem as it sometimes attracts more experienced players back to the game making the competition a little stronger than normal. Anyway, since these stats are an average of your overall play, they will likely return to your appropriate level over time.

When you stop caring about your stats is when you're going to have the most fun. Remember when you started playing Black Ops, before you knew what Stats were, even if you weren't doing well you were still having fun?

Once you start analyzing your stats and the way the game performs functions, combined with not playing well, fun goes out the window.

My first CoD was Waw and those are the fondest memories I have of online gaming. Not because I did the best or because that game's functionality was superior to any prior or since, but because that's when I was just playing for fun and enjoying the experience not worrying about what my stats looked like.

The more you grow as a person in real life, the less emphasis you'll put on your virtual performance in a video game. Don't take it so seriously.

Oh, if you want to improve your accuarcy, fire an entire clip into enemy air support whenever possible.
