  Start -> All Programs -> Steam -> Steam

   

  That should do it.

   

  If it's a new install, you may need to fiddle a bit to get the steam account set up.

   

  If you're using a cracked copy - sorry pal - you're on your own.

  Likely a hacked or non-legit copy.   Normally, if you start the game without Steam running, it'll just start Steam itself and carry on.

    my game is not pirated game MW3 since it was released on steam but recently started giving me this error

      Have you more than one steam account? you may be logged in the wrong account name, and starting the game from the desktop shortcut, which will be linked to the other account
