Map size and team size i'd like your thoughts.

I was thinking that team size should be according to map size. When I play on large maps like liberation 6 on 6 seems to small of a team. you spend more time looking/chasing people to kill then killing people. On maps that are so small like Dome it doesn't take much skill to get lots of kills. You can blindly toss a frag and get a double kill. So I thinking on small maps it should be teams of 4 v 4, on medium size maps teams of 6 v 6, and on large maps it should be teams of 8 v 8.
While your idea is good, I don't think this would happen because a majority of the maps are medium size, while there are only 1-2 small and large maps. So you would either end up having to have different playlists for the different sized maps and be stuck playiing 1-2 small/large maps and about 12-14 medium maps. Either that or when in the pre-game lobby they would have to adjust the player count based on what map is voted for.

Not going to happen. This game will never have an equal number of any size maps in it. Nor will they ever adjust the lobby count based on the playlist size because of parties. A small map comes up that only allows 4 and party of 6 is playing, two would either be kicked or placed on the other team, which would not be fair. A large map comes up and the party of 4 from a small map now has to deal with 4 randoms being added which would hinder their performance against the other team. It would cause more problems than it would solve.
When i'm gaming with 2 people on my list and other people are put on our team it doesn't bother me or my friends at all because we're not stuck up and feel other people can't be on our team. Also if you're in a party greater then the map will allow then you are put on the maps that your party can play on. Simple as that.
Well how do they fix this, by kicking people out of the lobby when a small map is voted for?
