So i was playing Infected then someone invited me to a private match infected game with no throwing knifes when the game started he immediately ended the game then my xbox froze and i went back to level 1 no prestige and now i cant level up how can i fix this?!?!
You're probably screwed. There's a thing going around with people inviting you into their vaults and deranking you too. Too bad some people get their "jollies" off of other peoples pain.
A modding group created a viral mod, which we prevented from spreading within twelve hours yesterday. Sadly, in 'protest' at our ability to disable this they are now inviting player's to private matches where they reset their stats. We have a fix for this in the works and are backing up player's stats so that we can restore them if needed next week.
In the meantime avoid friend invites from ANYONE not on your friend list.

What about the players whos stats are already reset?
They will have been backed up. We put this system in place the moment we learned of this group's activity.

Very true. It's sad that people get their jollies from pulling such stunts. As far as I am concerned, nobody can be trusted out there in XBL world. lol.
They're always up to something, you know?
For this very reason, I never accept game invites from people I do not know. I always deny them and if they continue to try and send invites I block them at that point. If they try to get others from the lobby to do the same, I just deny and block them too when needed.
It is never wise to accept game invites from people you never have played with before or complete random strangers ever because of these possible actions.
Exactly. This is why I have all my communications set to private. Want to message me? Voice chat? Send an invite? Nope. Gotta be a friend on my friends list. Bottom line.
You can't trust people out there on XBL. Too many bad apples pulling stunts like this, you know?
Like reality, don't trust strangers
