Wow, I know what Mac is talkin' about......I was playing with the group of guys I usually play with and we were beating the snot out of this clan over and over again and they kept inviting us and following us from lobby to lobby and sending us messages trying to get us to check out game clips in their vault to join their clan......one of the randoms we had recently picked up (was doing rather well and we needed a 6th, besides the point) fell for it and checked it out. He sent us a message later on saying his stats were reset, and blaming it on us for playing with us!! We are all legit! Crap my w/l is like 45% cuz I usually play solo unless I play with my group who are all under 20,000 with 2 under 500 and 2 5000 and i'm like 44,000. My overall k/d is like .80 from rushing/cappin/leveling up shotguns/lagging/whatever. But yea, word of advice be wary, we all knew better not to check it out, something was def fishy.

Eh, the old reset stats gltich that people used in BO eh? Or at another variant of it using the theater now with a bad video saved to vault that causes an error or some strange effect.

Hey at least you are trying to warn people about it. Plus I never watch vidoes of game clips from peoples vault. Hell I do not even use theater in this game myself and think it should just go away.

And nah, no need to tell anyone otherwise people would try to see if it works, or to use it against others, that made them mad after a match. So thanks and good job Mac.

i wouldn't mind having my stats reset back to zero.

knowing what i know now maybe i wouldn't have such a shite w/l and k/d because of poor map knowledge, gameplay and weapon choices.

sounds like some hackers getting even. they released some infections that could be spread by downloading a vid from there vault. and after being reported.....it was patched 14 hours later .

dont you think if something like this could be done then it doesnt really matter if you go to theater or not, the exploit is still there and it can be manipulated just like anything else right?

Welp, i got reset before i read this post, go figure I read this 5 minutes after being reset and i didnt even know i was reset yet, but I do have proof of being a higher prestige, In my SnD Leaderboards, it still says my original level + prestige. If ANY of you get reset, DO NOT play every game type as a level 1 or whatever because then you have NO proof that you were higher, because it does'nt reset your leaderboard stats till you play it at your current level.

Ex: 14th prestige level 80 plays SnD, then prestiges and doesnt play it, it still says he is 14th prestige in his Leaderboards. Im hoping activision actually helps the people who were effected by this before activision knew what was up, if not, i've lost all faith and trust in this company, and many others will probably agree
