BeachHead.....really let us know already

myself and every other clan in the world only want the answer to one simple question. When will there be more clan ops? Really be pro-active and communicate with your customers here. I know you guys have read this http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/122/1220534p1.html . your dirty little secret is out of the bag and soon enough the gaming community will stand up and take notice. its time you guys stop giving cookie cutter answers and get real with us. so dont link me "we at beachhead are working on clan operations and it is a top dev priority blah blah blah " twitter feed. Answers BeachHead we only want answers!

    I hope interviews are made like this more often. They should also add how BeachHead lacks in customer communication. I was patiently waiting for Clan Ops. I gave Beachhead the benefit of the doubt. But once Clan Ops came out, it had problems verifying the winners. Then clan ops stopped and there hasn't been any word on when they will resume. I am not going to renew my founder account. I'll just wait (and pay) a little more for the DLC to be released to the rest of the community.

    For real, I don't understand what is so hard about giving us a date, or at least a MONTH when the clan ops will return. Let me show you how easy it is...

     

    "Hey all you gamers out there paying us money, clan ops will be back sometime during (INSERT MONTH OR DATE HERE)"

      That would be a lot better than the old "This is a top dev priority. Coming soon."

        If that article is correct, being pressured by activision to work on ELITE 2.0 is going to be hitting the resources supposed to be providing the service we've already payed for.

         

        The IGN article gives a fair account of the current ELITE service in my opinion.

         

        I for one couldn't pay up front again for a service that is obviously still not finished 4 months late. Coupled with the awkwardness of playing the DLC that I am getting, on the whole it is quite frustrating.

         

        I really hope as I payed up front, I will get my ELITE extended past the 1 month. An extra 3 months to cover the next release would go a little way towards showing some goodwill to the customer base.

    I appreciate everyone who reads and comments on this post. How long can BeachHead really expect us to keep the faith when they have'nt done much to gain our support. I want to belive in this service because my clan has been around 7 years or so and we love doing stuff like they SAID would be part of this service. We need answers and the problem is not going to go away. It looks as though BeacHead is going to play the ostrach card and bury there head in the sand..........maybe thats why they chose BeachHead as a name......

      I've posted in several of these more mature threads, which are being polite, not ranting, just asking for some interaction - and the grand result is nada, nowt, zip.

       

      Not one post form beachhead, EliteHelp or whatever other dev accounts there are.

       

      I think they have given up talking to the community, not the best marketing strategy really.

        Their marketing strategy is:

         

        Buy it because there is no other option, we don't care what you say because you have no other options other than BF3 and we don't consider ourselves direct competitors since we are much faster paced.  Thus we will begin investing in 2.0 because you WILL buy it even though you say you won't.  We will not comment on our current workings because it takes 2 minutes, time is money, thus we won't waste money by keeping you happy.  It doesn't matter if you're upset, you'll buy 2.0 anyways.

          I'm still thinking that maybe those of us who bought Elite in November, might be getting another extension to the current 1 month.

          At least that way I might get to see Elite 2.0 before I spend on it. 

           

          I certainly wouldn't buy it back to back with this subscription, and would wait a bit to see what the forum fallout is like.

           

          I'm happy I'm getting the DLC straight away, so I think I'll have done OK for my £35 but with Clan Ops not running, Clan Challenges never starting and Lone Wolf ops being pointless, there is a lot lacking in this idea.

           

          Even having the DLC I don't play the maps due to the compromised playlists.

           

          It does have huge potential but is seriously falling on its arse right now.

            Gret article and spot on. Like I said, they can expect a massive dropoff in subscriptions come Nov/Dec.

              You and the rest are right i agree. I think it will be more than just a drop off i think it will destroy other groups of clans lol. I am trully sorry if anybody or anyone takes this the wrong way, but the impatient gamers and clans will more likely drop off altogether i haven't played but 1 0r 3 games of mw3 and i haven't played any other cod game since the clan ops were taken off the elite site.

               

              Cod is becoming more dead than alive and Only if and unless or until Activision and Beach Head start to show us respect And really listen to the whole world their loyal fan base i was one of them and i am not no more and never will. i'll still buy their products only to destroy them, Because they are useless garbage because they don't care!!!!

              Activision And Beach Head U Both Need To Speak Up U Never Listen To The True Loyal Fan Base Anyway. So I Think We Might As Well All Drop It And Forget It Because They're Never Going To Do Anyting Or Listen To Us Or Give Us An Answer. All We Want To Know Is Whats Going On!! And How They're Fixing It And When Will The Full Features Of Elite Be Ready And Where Is The Two Things I Qouted Above And How Soon Will We Be Able To Use Them And See Them??? MY ANSWER IS WE WILL NEVER SEE THEM OR USE THEM!! THATS WHY I'VE BEEN PLAYING E.S.5: SKYRIM TTFN.

    That article summed it up nicely thanks for posting.  I'm suprised there's not more out there like it. 

     

    BTW I figured out what happened to clan ops.  Beachhead staff must be catholic and gave up clan ops for lent    So maybe by easter they will start the ops back up.

    I would really like to give them the benefit of the doubt but at the end of the day there silence speaks volumes. someone at that company has to stand up to the corporate goats and give us the information we KNOW they have.

    Click on beachheads name and youll see thay havent even posted on here in 5 days and that was 1 post ...Its clear that they have given up on us.They are  just trying to push this out...so the money shows it worth it for activision to support Elite 2.0..

     

     

    Elite help atleast answers problem questions , but not anything about the the majority of the questions...i.e. clan ops,clan chalenges,why no HC longwolf ops. and if you look at the resent posts most of them start with "we're sorry"...lol

    If there's anyone on twitter that wants to help make a difference... I started using the hashtag #ELITEisajoke... If we get enough people using it, maybe Beachhead will see the light. Otherwise, I sent @gameinformer a few questions about why they haven't said squat about how bad Elite is. Maybe having a major gaming platform pan the service will help.

      i agree with u! But I believe even if we do that they'll shut the door on us and still be silent without a word about anything. I no longer have patience or faith for this operation that is trash.

    also message gameinformer. hell contact g4tv. a lot of people read game informer and the public deserves to know the truth about whats going on here. communicate with us BeachHead! you customers pay your salaries at the very least we deserve honest answers.

    I'm with the rest of you on this one as well. They need alot of work on it....elite was showing me as a 15th prestige level 80 right after i hit 15th prestige....also if u look closely at your stats the kills and assists and alot of other stats are off. Pay close attention to what your barracks say versus what u see on the leaderboards. Also , they need to purge the leaderboards of all the hacked/modded stats and handle the damn cheaters more promptly!....And of course first and foremost , FIX THE DAMN LAG COMP AND STOP BUFFING AND NERFING WEAPONS TO COMPENSATE FOR IT BEING JACKED UP!...It's pretty stupid if u ask me why u would want to tinker with strengths of weapons if the lag comp makes it so its totally random if your hits are even correctly registering to begin with! Here we are nearing the month of april and clan ops are still not up and running consistently either...i for one will not give them another red cent for elite until they give us all what WE ALREADY PAID FOR. And that whole founder status snaffoo....my view is this...up until they very day that they get elite running 100% they should hand everyone who forked over money for this crap founder status at least. It seems fair enough to me seeing that we are all the ones who are trying to be patient and work with them until its working right.

    How hard is it to type an update?  And with so many outlets to do so (twitter, fb, these forums)  it should be even easier. 

     

    The word "soon" is not an update.  It's a avoidance tactic.
