agree totally...I struggled to keep my KD around 1.6 in MW2 and I'll I did was become incredibly frustrated far too often. I quit worrying about it in MW3 and I find myself having A LOT more fun with the game as a whole. Would be interesting to see how many people would still play if they made KD's a thing of the past.

I like going up against tough competition when I think it's fair, so I wouldn't back out because of high k/d. While playing solo I will back out if a guy has anything below a .40 k/d that was on my team and went 1 and 17 the previous match and was put on my team.

I have a good k/d, but that only came after I went through all the prestiges and reset my stats and learned my lesson about run and gun and lag. Now my k/d stays around 2.5, but that's because I find great camping spots and hold them down with a sniper or m16. In Black Ops I was a run and gunner, but in MW3 I get insta-killed every other match when I run around. I wanted to throw something and then I realized that this is just a game and you have to adapt. Sad to say it, but camping gives me a chance that I normally wouldn't have most games if I ran around because I used to consider myself a decent player.
