Eliminate or Change Map Voting

I think they should eliminate or change the map voting.
If not eliminate it, then change it to a random map if the selected map is vetoed, including that it could select the vetoed map.
I am tired of playing Dome 20 times for every time I get to play Downturn or Bakaara.
On the Elite playlist over the weekend, I played Black Box or Overwatch probably 10 times for every time I got to play Liberation or Piazza.
Yeah, I'm griping. ![]()
You do realize this is the same as a random choice right? Let's look at MW2. It gave you one map, then a skip option to go to a different random map. Now back to MW3. Instead of a skip option that directs you to a random map, they put the random map on the screen and let you choose between the two. It's much easier and efficient.
Also, if you think going back to the skip option will get you plays on Downturn more often, you are sadly mistaken. It's an awful map.
Black ops had the best map voting system of all the CODs.
I'd like to agree but as much as I like Firing Range and Nuketown I always hated playing them twice in a row. I think that the map selection is actually one of the things MW3 got right in not allowing maps to be played consecutively.
people just dont know what else to complain about from this game!
I think you are right. Run out of real stuff so now they start making things up.
Yes, shocking I am not complainging about OP perks, OP weapons or people's play styles (drop shotters, campers. etc...). ![]()
I am just saying it would be nice to get to play some of the lesser played maps more often, and the voting system in MW3 prevents that from happening.
I don't recall the map rotation or voting system in WaW, MW2 or BO being as big an issue with getting maps over-played or under-played.
It is not really a problem. They are not underplayed really. If the majority of the lobby does not want to play them then the majority is happy. And that is what is important. Choice is more important than anything.

That is because Black Box is brand new and Overwatch is halfway new while the other 2 are older. People would rather play the new ones then the old ones. You are the first person i have seen that does not like this voting system.
nothing wrong with the map rotation, stay in the same lobby
I have a system, which I reckon others do the same thing. This might be a little low-brow actually. This is for when the choice is between a map I can't stand and a map I like: When the votes are tied, I vote for the one I don't like, wait till there is a few seconds left, and change my vote. By then it's too late and I get the map I wanted.
I think there should be a third option as well, I mean, it can be difficult to get into a lobby from the word go as it is, and if I get the choice of Carbon or Downturn, I'd defo vote for random rather than leave and get chucked into a game half way through.
the only thing i dont like about the voting system, from what ive noticed at least, is that if its a tie vote it always picks the top map. would b nice if it selected from the 2 at random, again idk if it does at random but i have never seen it pick the bottom one for me.
heres an idea, if maps you don't like come up then leave the lobby. rinse repeat
As stated, I'd rather stay in a lobby than leave and get thrown into a game that's half way through, probably on a map I don't want to play!
