I've been Prestige 15 for 3 hours now..

So I just hit Prestige 15 last night and it's still giving me the option to prestige (the Prestige Mode action is still there, unlocked after Commander) - I'm guessing once I hit Commander it will unlock giving me the ability to prestige again. Now what I want to know is, is this a bug or will this actually make me Prestige 16? I know there are another 5 prestiges upcoming, but as far as I know we only have Prestiges 11-15 right now.

I tried to get in contact with Robert Bowling but no response, maybe some of you have actually tried it and can tell me what's going on.. I don't want to wreck my prestiging from doing it too early. Probably might be best to just stay at Prestige 15 Level 80 for now and not go into the next prestige at all.

When I get to Level 15, I am not clicking that Prestige Button until they announce the next 5 Prestige Levels have been released.

Although, I'm guessing it will ask you if you're sure you want to reset all your stuff to 0 Prestige if you try to do it now and it doesn't go to 16.

But I'm not taking that chance.

If I were you, I would stay at 15 until they officially announce the next 5 prestiges are coming. It could be a bug and it might lead to something horrible O_O

Anyways, congratulations on Prestige 15, I'm staying at 8th. I would've been prestige 15 by now, but I decided to stay at 8th and get all golden guns.

  Thank you! I had about 8 golden guns on Prestige 10, luckily I hadn't worked my shotguns and snipers up to gold otherwise I would've been infuriated when these new prestiges were announced, I decided just to do the prestiges quick on Kill Confirmed and get the gold guns again.

I would wait until you get to Commander and see if it actually unlocks. I wouldn't expect it to activate until the new prestiges are available.

  That's what I was thinking, but when I hit Prestige 10 the option just wasn't there at all (like with all other Call of Duty games), I was expecting the same with Prestige 15 and then Prestige 20 when released. I wonder if someone prestiged 5 more times, they would be Prestige 20 when they come out as the game recognises you've prestiged 20 times.
  
  It's not something I'm risking, but I'm sure someone out there could try it.

I'm level 10/80 and am waiting to prestige till i've completed some of the challenges i never do. Yet last night after finishing a game i got the note that 'you have been promoted to commander'.

I thought i already was??

Yeah I was gonna take it slow to get to 15.. but I think I am gonna hurry up and do it and get my fav guns back again...

ok i know the answer of my question is some where in this forum but i dont feel like searching so do we still get prestige token when we prestige to 11-15?? and you guys are talking about 5 more prestige ( 15-20 )...serious?????? cmon....we will never see the end of it lol

  Yeah you still get prestige tokens, and yeah 5 more prestiges were found when the first 5 prestiges were added to the PC.

I was at 15th lvl 80 and wanted to see what happens when you click prestige again and all it does it restart you back to 15 lvl 1 and gives another token.

Based on what I've read on the forums, from well-known members, it's not a glitch, you can re-pres back to 15 lvl 1 over and over again till they release 16-20. Giving you more tokens.

  so basicly those that cheated there way to 15 can now keep cheating there way to 5+ more tokens? by then everything the store has been open up to them so whats the point after that?

If you press prestige it will make you 15th level 1

  so whats the best thing to do with your tokens when your prestiage .. the first time i didnt double weapon xp , the last time i did double exp ex .. and now im thinking of using one to save a custom class .. any one got any advice i am about to be up again ..

I'd just stay at 15/80 until they release the next 5 Prestiges - not worth leveling 15th all the way back up again for 1 more token.

I just hit 10th yesterday - so I still have a ways to go before I have this problem.

I think it is gonna depend on how long it will be before they release the next 5...

I am not gonna stop playing, so I can could foresee doing it over and over and unlocking more and more gear, so starting at level 4 on my 16th prestige, I would have everything I wanted for my 10 classes...

Again, it depends on when they release them. Any word on that?

  nothing listed yet. They will do it for xbox 360 prior to any other system. That will give ya a month notice to get back to 80
