Do you respect a player who uses the MP7 with Akimbo FMG9s

I played a match with a kid who used the above guns every game. He was pretty good statistically speaking; K/D was high, W/L was high, accuracy was high. In the lobby though, he was a douche and bragged about how awesome he was which brought on a lot of hate from everyone who claimed he was a tryhard who used the easiest guns

 

This brings me to may question. Do you respect a player who has good stats with the MP7 and Akmbo FMG9s

 

Note: At the time, ELITE showed he had 3 classes with these two weapons. One was Assault, one was Specialist, and one was Support. The attatchments varried from RF, Suppressor, and a combiniation of both

         You know, when I get killed by akimbos, I watch the kill cam.  If they swap out an AR, LMG or Sniper Rifle right before they spray me down with FMG9s, I'm strangely ok with that.  A guy that uses a rapid fire smg and carries akimbo FMG9s, I got no respect for that guy.  A guy that runs the entire match with FMG9s, no respect for that.  I know you get a lot of kills, and you are probably a better player than myself, but you look like a tool that can't do anything else.

    I respect players that show they're capable of playing well with any setup.

     

    I can also respect players that know their strengths and weaknesses and stick to a setup they know they can do well with.

     

    I don't have much respect for players that talk about how good they are. Everyone knows if someone's a good player, and good players don't need to tear down other players to make themselves feel better.

    I strongly despise anyone who uses FMG9's throughout a match. I don't mind MP7's though. I use it from time to time, mainly whenever I'm in a game and I see someone running around with an MP7 or FMG9's with 40+ kills. I enjoy rivalling them and destroying their streak.

    i dont care what guys use .. if thery in the game then they are there to be used .. thats like getting mad at shaq or dwight howard for dunking .. i dont use the akimbos often  only when i play fee for all dome against friends .. other then that i use the type95,ump45,acr,gcr ... i used the 901 alot and i like it but acr is just better .. iv used the mp5 but again just like the ump45 better .. again i have tried and tried shotgun but when i do .. i usually end up with 1 kill and 15 deaths so i gave up on them .

    I do not mind people that run around with secondaries, because it is POSSIBLE that they are trying to max them out for the max proficiency XP.

     

    People who run around them because they are bad with other guns...well...

     

    MP7?  The only reason people hate it is because other people hate it.  It is not that great of a gun (but it is easy to use). You will get outgunned by other weapons... but when I used it in HC modes, I felt it was a little unfair.

     

     

    The MP7 in the hands of a good player = easy kill

    The MP7  in the hands of a noob = easy kill for the enemy

    You don't use them because you have self respect, and respect for the guys you play against.  Sure, the better guns are used more.  The fact that a secondary weapon you start with pwns is the problem.

     

    I've used them as secondary weapons are intended.  Out of ammo, weapon swap. Going into a tight space with your AK-47, weapon swap.  I just think you (not you, personally) look like a noob that can't do anything else when you run around with Akimbos as your main.

    If I had to take a guess I would say 70% of people who use the FMG9s use the for their badass Akimbo capabilities. They don't give two sh*ts about leveling them at all and use them as a primary. Those people I don't have respect for. I don't mind if you use them, they're in game, be my guest. But don't expect me to worship the ground you walk on

     

    MP7 is the best SMG in the game, hands down. But it's not the best gun in general so if you have high stats using it good for you. I'll still kill you with my MK from long range without any problems

    For the love of........ the MP7 is NOT an overpowered gun; it's lack of recoil is balanced out by the damage it deals, it takes about 5-6 bullets anywhere out of close range.

     

    If you get killed by it from far away then that really is your fault, you should have plenty time to get out of the way.

     

    The FMGs are a different ball park; they have a longer range and more accurate fire than a shotgun, which for a secondary that you DON'T aim, is not right.

     

    To end my post; I don't care about the MP7, there is nothing wrong with it; but the FMgs I have no love for, nor do I respect those that abuse them.
