stolen founder xp what could we do?

beachead, there alot a people taking founder 500xp and then kicking them out the clan after they get the person xp, could we do anything about these report them somehow and get our founder xp back?

    I say the founder XP should always follow you. When you leave a clan it deranks them 500 XP, so on so forth.

      I created a clan and I left my clan and when I join the other clan it gave them my 500xp but I don't know if it was a mistake or what? or because it's was the 1st week and they were having promble. but that it a great idea to keep you xp.

        I created a clan then left it to join my friends but my 500Xp never came with me.

          Our intention was that the 500XP could only be used once. We didn't want someone to "de-level" a Clan by leaving it -- that felt like griefing. Hope you understand why we made this decision.

           

          We'll talk about this problem internally and get back to you guys.

            Well maybe my issue is understandable with what yall came up with. But yall should do something for the people who joined a clan then got kicked on purpose to strip said founder of their 500 XP bonus.

              We'll definitely do something. If the Clan is in violation of the TOS they might get disbanded or booted.

               

              Some of the other ideas in this thread are pretty interesting, but we need to talk about them internally before we can consider any big change like this. We want to ensure that we're making the right decision.

                Hopefully this means only the offender gets booted. I would hate to see a clan be disbanded and everyone in that clan losing their 500xp. If you come to any decisions in the future hopefully it's the keep the 500xp with you for life, just on the off chance that people might kick you. That will at least help keep clans honest. May not solve the problem as once they get the double XP or emblems and such they wont lose it. This could also pose an issue. Say your clan is level 20...you get the double XP, kick the guy, (taking you to level 19) bring him back, get level 20 and double XP, kick the guy......rinse and repeat. Just something to think about.

                  Jwaller123: right on. That's the problem with letting you "keep" your 500XP. There are ways around this (like ensuring the Clan can only get their level 20 boost once), but it gets pretty complicated. That's why we are discussing internally.

                  I like the idea of the founders having 500xp throughout their careers on Elite But like the dev is saying, people will find holes and ways through the service to exploit that xp to get certain clan buffs and benefits that could stay with the recruit even when they leave the clan. I'm very happy with the responses and actions that are being pushed to the community by BHS, SHG and IW since launch. It's all growing pains for everyone especially the CREATORS. I was in the beta for black ops and i'll say i loved it. which is why I never hesitated when thinking whether or not to buy MW3 Hardened Edition. Very happy camper here.....

      Sorry, not yet. This is a complicated internal discussion, because we need to examine a lot of different ways of tackling the problem. We want to ensure that Clans that have ripped people off are punished w/o hurting legitimate Clans. Please have patience on this one.

        Please let me know where I can send this information to because I know a clan that started doing this early and often I know of at least 20 founders this was do to if in this clan you want the name of the clan please contact me. If I put this info out here I will have my account suspended as happend to me when it happed it was called spam I think or may be telling the truth I am not sure. I don't know how long you think it should take, try looking in to the complaints that might help speed it a long See how many founder points they have and how many founders are in the clan I think they call it math!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        Here is a crazy idea I just came up with.  How about you actually start doing something like getting clan ops to work, and getting clan challenges up.  Maybe then these clans won't feel the need to steal peoples founder xp. 

         

        I know this concept of a product that works is prolly foreign to you but you really ought to give it a try. Just sayin.

    Some clans are really abusive and I understand this takes time to fix but the Libz clan is just horrible. They invite founders and then kick them the next day and block all communications. Clans like this should be punished.

    They tell me no there is nothing they can do this happed to me, joined a clan then 12 hours later I was kicked because they said my kdr was to low it did not change in the 12 hours I was there. all I can say is do your home work. I am now in the best and biggest clan out there and no I will not tell you which one find this out for you self. By checking the post on different boards like the lone wolf ops and such. Check to see how long they have been around the clan I am in has been there for 4 years. Now beachhead can give founder points to elite members who did not earn them or buy them if you registered by this date you were a founder or if you got hardden edition, then they changed it to that date then to another date and now every elite player gets them and the people how earned it or bought it get ripped again. Why did founders get something like maybe a few tokens or something. stop pi**** on my head and tell me it's raining
