Did I prevent my account from being hacked?

I was in a lobby when I got an ally request from some guy (name was sparky something), and since I'm a friendly guy, I accepted. Later I got a text msg from him saying "u suk ass I'm hacking u". Naturally I went into lockdown mode, deleting the message and him from my ally list and turning off my Wii.
Later I decide to play again, and was in a game when the screen suddenly froze and a high-pitched whine started coming out of the tv. I thought this could mean I WAS being hacked and turned off my Wii again, taking out the disc as well.
Did I take the steps necessary to prevent being hacked? Or am I still at risk?
DON'T ACCEPT REQUESTS FROM STRANGERS!!!
The moral of the story... ![]()
chances are he didnt actually hack, and was just butthurt so he threatened you... the wii high pitched thing happens to others often, or me at least, and has nothing to do with people hacking you
Maybe a wire at the back of your screen came out?
Noo he cant hack you unless your in the same lobby with him. Chances are he's not a hacker and he was just trolling you. And it was a good idea to delete the person![]()
