It's personal preference really, I used mine for custom classes at the beginning as I'm always tinkering with them. Didn't feel the need to use them on guns as there's always a good gun available from the start. Pretty sure the gun stats reset too so you'd have to rank it up again. As for when to use it I'd advise straight away, you should be able to save it for later but I think there were some reports of them disappearing so better safe than sorry.

If you unlock the ACR it will be just that. It will not be customized. I used my tokens towards perks that I used that didn't come around till later in the ranking. Then weapons then custom classes. I stopped at the end of the 9th prestige and had plenty of goodies to finish the 8th and 9th prestiges quickly. I guess it all comes down to what you need/use the most whether it be weapons, perks or classes.

I suggest with your first prestige that you unlock the weapon or perk that is most useful to you.

For me it was the RPG-7, then C4, then the MP7, then Steady Aim ect.

You have to be a little bit clever so you don't waste your token on something you unlock early like the Scar or the PP90M1, which are both excellent weapons but are both easily attainable within the first few hours of a prestige.

Extra custom classes are always useful if you like a variety of weapons or are too lazy to change a class for every new game mode.

I haven't seen the need to unlock a regular or veteran package however, they are call signs that I'll never use and have very little impact on the game.

Use the first 2 tokens to unlock something valuable.

The next 5 is used for custom classes.

The last 3 is used for the title and emblems.

I'm 10th stige now.  This is how I used my 10 tokens:

1. Unlocked MSR

2. Custom Class

3. Custom Class

4. Custom Class

5. Emblem & Callsign

6. MP-7

7. Custom Class

8. Emblem & Callsign

9. Custom Class (You will max out at 5 additional custom classes for a total of 10)

10. Emblem & Callsign

If you are into trying to get everything for the game and like to tinker with different classes I recommend this highly.  Remember you need a total of 8 tokens to get all custom classes and all additional call signs.  I used the other two for my two favorite weapons to prestige with.  Hope this helps

Question:  the only way to get the extra custom classes is to use a token?  For some reason, I was under the impression that after you got to 10th prestige, they would automatically be unlocked.
