WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH GETTING LOSES FOR THINGS THAT WEREN'T UR FAULT

I have been extremely frustrated with MW3 lately because for every one win I get I then get 5 loses (SOME TIMES IN A ROW). For example, today I started with a win and lose record of 555 wins and 598 loses. I then proceeded to become 560 wins and 621 loses. I lost what felt like 10 games in a row due to unfair pairs for the teams and placing me in games that are about to end with me on the losing end .It's not fair for a player who for instance just got into a match and the score is MY TEAM: 3500 OTHER TEAM: 7400 and when the other team gets that final kill I get a lose for it and the only thing I did was walk two inches. The game needs to STOP doing that. It's also not fair that when the match is cut short due to the host leaving or the server connection was lost, I get a lose and my team was winning. I purpose that when a player enters a match that player has to be in for certain amount of time of they don't get a win or lose and that if the game is cut short due to lose of host or lost sever connection, you don't get anything either.
Happens all the time. Don't worry so much about ur stats and you won't care anymore like me. ![]()
W/L > All, given I do play with Randys, I pride myself in trying to win lol, and joining matches where my team is losing is not fun.
play random 50/50 or there about. Want to increase play private and play clan!
It happens to everyone. If you care about your win/loss stats, you can limit the problem by staying in the same lobby for a long time or by playing in a party.

I gave up on win/loss stats a looong time ago. I play TDM and consistenly get 30+ kills with around 5 deaths and still lose more than I win. I know I'm doing the best I can to win games, but there's nothing I can do when the second place guy on my team is 8-14 and it just gets worse from there. Win/loss is the most useless stat imo.
All win/loss shows is who parties up all the time and who doesn't..
Just dashboard. It's the simple solution to a surprising amount of COD problems. Join a match in progress, dashboard. Get stuck in a lobby with a bunch of invincible foreign people who have a 5 second lag compensation advantage, dashboard. Get stuck in a lobby with your neighbors and still somehow manage to be 3 full seconds behind everybody, dashboard. Get constantly put into a TDM lobby against a clan of 6 when you are playing solo since they are obsessed with turning Merc TDM into a mosh pit that nobody wants, dashboard. Get picked as host and have the game COMPLETELY broken for you, dashboard.
This game is an absolute mess and a disgrace to the COD name. In fact, this isn't really COD anymore and is nothing more than a cheap knockoff made by a bunch of incompetent developers that had absolutely nothing to do with the last 2 Modern Warfare titles. The real talent jumped ship to Respawn. I mean, they completely ripped off MW2 in this game and still somehow managed to completely ruin it.
No. You don't dashboard. It is part of the reason why there are some problems in this game.
No, the problem is horrific matchmaking, terrible lag compensation code and a ridiculously bad host disadvantage that give people more than enough reason to back out of a game without being forced to take a loss due to somebody elses incompetence.
Its one loss get over it. Don't ruin everyone else's game by dashboarding.

Sorry, I'm not a sheep.
Your right your selfish and only care about your game....my bad.

So I should let someone have fun on my expense? No thanks.
Then just leave and take the one loss. This is a video game and that one loss isnt going to loss you money. If people would not take their stats so serious no one would dash board and there would be no losing the connection to host. You aren't going to be the popular guy in school by having the best stats. The mean nothing. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Why should 11 other people suffer just because you are crying and getting you ass beat in a game?
What are you implying here?
I'm all about the dashboard, I love ending the game when I'm about to lose (which is usually not my fault just the crappy game) I don't care if I ruin the game for others I didn't buy the game to care about other peoples feelings! If this game weren't so broken it wouldn't make me like this but oh well :)
I have to agree...while I'm not a total stat-whore like some people might be (I really don't care what my W/L or K/D is and such), it is quite stupid to have losses build up over absolutely nothing at all on your part aside from being put into a horrid game by the matchmaking system or because of crappy servers/host migration failures/etc.
If I lose legitimately throughout an entire match (or at least early on when neither side is that high in scores, like 2000s or so), I'm fine.
If I join and, as mentioned, the game is already <insert low number> for the team I'm on while the enemy team is 7400 and the last kill is made before I even pick a class, if I even bother, then...no...same with if I enter right when the leaderboard is showing, and so on.
I also hate how leaving in ANY WAY is considered a loss on your part. Even if you don't pick a class yet to officially join the game when you first enter the lobby, and spectate a little bit before deciding to leave, it counts as a loss for you. The only time it should be is if you actually enter the match initially by choosing a class, and then leave after. If it's via server time out, host migration failure, connection loss, or spectating without ever entering at all, it shouldn't count as a loss.
Just Dashboard... people may dislike dashboarding but it gets the job done. Anyone who says different are probably retarded if they think dashboarding from a game you just joined or joining a game with split screeners who go 7-25 and run past the objective or dont play the objective at all(TDM has an objective... don't die)
my win/loss is 700+/200+ although running with a party will help you win... the lag is just horrible so it causes more rage than happiness.
Once cod fixes its problem with matchmaking(Joining a game where your team is losing by a large number), remove split screen(There are good and bad... good = look at the others screen bad = just bad) and find a better method of balancing teams no one should dashboard but until then dashboard.
i would love to see a team option, the ability to choose what type of player gets put on your team based of stats and a play style choice.
Please dude, stop: http://www.r-word.org/
Anyway don't encourage dashboarding. It ruins the game. If you're host and you dashboard, the whole game ends. That's extremely inconsiderate to players who may have been having a good game. Furthermore, it's kind of a glitch that it doesn't remember your stats when you dashboard so it's borderline cheating.
If people didn't quit games so much, you wouldn't get thrown into so many ridiculous matches...my motto is if you get into it, finish it. For months I never quit a game, but so many people do and matchmaking is so messed up that I'm forced to quit when it's 5 people with killstreaks everywhere and either I'm not getting more teammates or I'm getting teammates and they're quitting right away.

Whats really inconsiderate is Activision forcing us to be game servers AND putting us at a huge disadvantage to do so instead of getting proper game servers. The whole idea of them forcing the players to host their game for them is absurd. It's like paying to see a movie and then being forced to play it in your living room for the whole audience because you have the biggest tv and nicest living room.

Lmao, dashboarding ruins the game ? The best time to dashboard is if you're host... why would anyone let other people have a, "good time" when they themselves are having no fun due to their unfair advantage. If the game had no problems i would be against dashboarding but there are just too many problems that make dashboarding the best choice.
adding a point/time limit cap so it blocks people from joining in would actually solve the problem.
All game modes - 1-2 mins left cap
TDM 6000 maybe 7000 cap
Dom 170 maybe 180 cap
also if the gap of points is way to large there should be a cap. a option to not join games in progress would be another great add. i wouldn't mind waiting 15min-30min hell even 1hour to get into a game that has yet to begin.

People like you are probly one of my biggest problems with the game. Your host and you know it and I stomp you so you do the little baby thing and dashboard.

If i was host and you.. "stomp" me its only because you have an advantage over me. I shouldn't be punished for having a above average internet speed.
luckily i rarely get host unless its free for all.
Its the games problems that cause people to dashboard... so claiming people are the "biggest problems" only shows how little you actually know.
Never claimed its the biggest problem. Said it is one of my biggest problems.
o_O i doubt you'd be saying that if you got host every game you played.
I get host. 75% of the time and rarely have a problem. The lag comp is very hit and miss sometimes. I will have problems sometimes and others i won't
I know it's unfair throwing people into games that are all but over, however there does need to be a system that will replace player who drop out early. I couldn't even begin to start counting the amount of games where the team that started with me had 4 different players by the end. if the game didn't replace those players it would have been me vs 6 other players and to honest there's a good chance I might quit out as well, and that does seen fair to the other team.
Sad thing is I don't even blame people who dashboard in this game, its broken beyond belief.
Best option would be to add a:
-Only join games that have not started.
That way the people that don't give a **** about constantly being put on losing temas can turn it off and play with the dumb **** randoms who single handedly give you a loss by going 0-75
Play infecte and you can get your wins up regardless if you die or not
Forget about you K/D ratio... it's bullshit... Play for fun!!!...
