if you can unlock weapons, why not the attachments or proficiencies to those weapons? i think that would be awesome. i actually thought that if you unlocked a weapon with a prestige token, that it would just stay leveled up once you leveled it up... i think it's sorta dumb to unlock a weapon, then they turn around and make you level that weapon up every prestige, but that's just what i think, and i can see the argument against that way of thinking, as well.

I think if you use a prestige token to permanently unlock a gun or perk you should only have to level it one time. So if you were to buy the MP7 with a token it would start off with nothing, but once you unlock all of the attachments, proficiencies, and camos come next prestige you would not have to level the gun again. You would start with everything for that weapon. It should be the same with perks as well, once purchased with a token you should only have to get the pro version once.

we dont need every lvl 4 guy running striker with damage proficiency

If you could do this I wouldn't have stopped prestiging.  I got Damage on the 4 shotguns I liked and didn't feel like doing it over again every prestige.
