Why Does Mw3 have lag compensation?

Its Instantly made the game bad why chouldn't they have it like MW2 and Cod4 All the people i know hate the game just because of this

+ The 5 Sec rule takes the fun out of the killstreaks u should be rewarded for getting killstreaks.

    All online games have lag comp. Without lag comp online games would be unplayable.

      Ok then so Y does Mw3 and Black Ops have Moderate Strict and Open Nats and they are **** games and then Mw2 and Cod4 just have Open and the game is sooooooo much better

        The nat type is your problem there bud, not the game.
        
        My nat type is open on MW3, BO, CoD4, WaW, MW2 and all online games I own. Do yourself a favor and google your solution because I assure you that the strict nat type is a problem on your end.
        
        Nat type is an entirely different thing related to the users connection and not the game itself.

        not a nat type problem my nat type is open and i have good internet and dont tell me that its my router or my network i know for a fact that its not. its been set up by a professional and he checks it regularly. im running as fast as i can without going to fiberoptic

5 second rule??? what's that I don't get it. I can see your frustration with lag comp the amount of times i've joined a lobby, the game starts I start with full bars someone comes in 1 bars it and my internet gets raped. how is that fair?

  the 5 second rule is that when ur in a AC130 or reaper when the enemy just spawns u cant kill them u just get hitmarkers

    It's called spawn protection and it only seems to work against KSs or at the start of rounds. It's fair, considering that you shouldn't have to die right after spawning.

        It wasn't fun for the people killed over and over again. Getting ac130s was/is too easy, especially with care packages being so generous this time around.

  Oh and that solves the problem? you only make it worse you are cheating to by exploiting the lag compensation to your advantage. Resorting to that is just making it worse

  I don't understand why people blame the stealth clown. He's not even head designer. He's community manager, he doesn't have as much say in what goes in the game as people think he does.

    Y doesn't he tell the designers to just fix Mw2 from the hacks and dangerclose and then MW2 would be the best game in the world and no 1 will play Mw3. people only play mw3 because they are sick of the noob tubers and hackers on mw2

      The stealth clown has little if any influence in what goes in the game. Want to blame anyone, blame Activision, IW, or Sledgehammer.

  lag compensation needs to be removed, i got all my buddies disconnecting their high-speed then all tethering to one super slow cell phone for K/Ds of 6+ every game, one even has a max killstreak of 109!!!!!! with an average of 56!!!!! WTF!!!! I've got 4MB and my kd dropped from 1.26 to 0.33 the 1st week of this retarded patch.

    If the "hot spot" cell phone claim, going through cell towers is true then IW really needs to enforce a "minimum" speed limit on local area matchmaking....What I really want to know is why are people so compelled to resorting to questionable tactics to gain an edge???? My K/d is 2.08 and I have NEVER even tried any of these things. I had my share of WTF games and lag but really? Using a wifi hot spot to utilize the lag comp?!?!?! Our country is full of used car salesmen in training....we should all change our last names to Madoff.

      IF you have a k/d over 2.0 then the lag compensators are helping you because you have a **** connection. The reason that people are compelled to gain an edge is because the lag compensation ***** most people in this game and those who are constantly screwed cant take it anymore. I'm sick of being ****** game after game because I pay to have a great internet connection. You would be too if you didnt have the poor-man's package.

        Poor man's package?? Buddy, you know nothing about me. I may have cable Internet but it's not a "poor man's" connection. Relax. I still get lag with my set up too and I have not changed my hardware since before BO. That game ran fine for me after the first month of release. This game is totally different. Also, I play drop zone and TDM mostly. That's why my K/D is over 2. It sounds to me that your play style might be the problem.

I dont have the best internet speed but I still get shoot throu walls

+ I never knew there was a 5 second rule! Know I know why I barely get any kills with the Reaper and AC-130
