Not old and not naive, you are enjoying the game for what it is, just like me.

FMG-9 and dead mans hand ruins this game for me.  Second chance wasn't nothing.

Thumbs up from another old bastard here. The game is pretty close to the best it can be and with a few tweaks would be perfect (for COD on Wii, anyway), when I do rage it's the players that ruin my experience not the game.

i just play because i love the game. this is easily my favorite game. i have never signed up for a forum for a video game before. true its frustrating when there are hackers and people who exploit glitches, but hey it is going to happen and so just drop your eff bomb when it happens and move on. i turn off my chat most of the time because its not organized assault tactical language.  when you get in that one match where everyone is just playing for the love of the game and trying simulate real combat and a team player, no cheats,  wow those are some epic matches.   and why do you people hop around like bunnies then call me a noob. im a soldier, i dont hop. stop hopping.

Nice to see there are some "older" dudes here like myself....lol   I'm 42. 

I feel old if that counts..

I enjoy the game otherwise I wouldnt have 11 days of game play time, but like many others there are things that frustrate me from time to time, not any of the guns, but actually dev issues like lag and host disadvantage. It is frustrating to get killed by a p90 at a decent range with one shot on my screen and look at the kill cam to see something totaly different.

My only real complaint about items in the game is dead mans nuke. No way should it have a bigger blast radius than C4 does.

    I quite enjoy the game myself despite all the complaints. But something I have noticed is that the older players dont complain nearly as much as younger ones. Perhaps its just getting to a point in life where you understand the importance of things. Games are meant to be fun and have no need to be ruined by having a bad one from time to time ... or even regularly.

  Also ... you have probably realized by now that life doesnt always go your way, and the best way to get through it happily is to  savor the good times and learn from the bad.

Welcome Teacher123... we actually played together a week or so ago.  I remember seeing your name and thinking, "hey, I wonder if he/she is a teacher... cool."  I'm nearing 40 myself & also work for a school district.  I grew up with the 1st Nintendo & Sega, took about 20 years off, and was reintroduced to gaming a few years back by my kids.  I'm with ya about simply enjoying the game... CoD blows anything that we ever played growing up far out of the water, so I'll take what they give us.

I agree! All I see online is people moaning about every aspect of the game. It seems to be the nature of online communities and social networks. I've played cod online since cod4 and played Counter Strike before that. There are aspects about all of the games that I don't agree with but I'm not going to cry about it. The game wasn't designed for me personally. they design the game that they think the largest number of people will like, doesn't mean they failed just cos you personally don't like it.  Either play the game and stop moaning or stop playing the game. simples.
