Clan operations schedule

So now that they have awarded the XP for the first event does that mean they will post another event finally. I mean cripes at this rate my clan will never rank up. I dont think it should be necessary to beg people to join just to get their founder points. We would rather rank up on merit, but given this system it's gonna be a long time.

I ACTUALLY bought the elite version specifically because of the whole clan experience which has been woefully lacking and thouroughly disappointing. Yes I know we get the maps blah blah blah, couldn't care less. The maps are poorly designed with more clutter than the shipped ones. I don't care for the Spec Ops, who does really.

So the only value for me was to be in the Clan experience, what a big deal they made about it. I have already cancelled the renewal for Elite. I like the game but I honestly feel completely mislead in regards to Elite, huge failure.

If this was a test bed for subscription based play (which is what I suspect) it has failed miserably. I hope more people realize this and think about it, if they get enough renewals the next step will be subscription based play. Mark my words, flame all you want but this was a veiled attempt at testing the waters.

elite is and was an epic fail, plain and simple.  by the time it's running at full potential (which I don't foresee) the next game will be out and a lot of people will be soured by this.  elite and the new map play list, the way they are rolling new maps out etc is all laughable.  i really hope COD loses the monopoly it has on FPS, until then they will walk all over the community. it's a shame and yet here we all wait like sheep (myself included).

They tried to throw this out last minute without being able to test it. IW has a hands off approach on it as its run by Beachhead studios.  Beachhead seems to trip over their feet with every step, and for IW , well its out of their hands.  If anything, Beachhead may get released by the end of this, I wouldnt be surprised. It may be the only way COD can rid their bad rep that is becoming attached to them because of BH.  Wouldnt be a bit surprised if they use Origin or someone else. Or once theyve ironed this out, you might see BH offer a free extra 6 mo to current subscribers as compensation.

Blaming BH is just a loophole for IW.  IW is still to blame, they should know who they are getting in bed w/ and be well informed and educated on the process' involved.

I believe you meant scapegoat. While I do believe IW shares the responsibility for making sure things are run from a PR perspective and that they help in whatever way they can to get them stats in whatever way they do, I would suggest that we rethink this. The current IW is not the IW from MW2. After the lawsuit where the company was split there was talk that there wouldnt even be a MW3. I get this feeling that its a whole new IW, all in a learning process. That said, I think the game plays well considering. My guess is that someone from BH through a new company a sales pitch ,"You want to really hook people on your game, how bout if you give us access to stats, and we'll be able to do this" and in return we'll give you a cut of this$$$. Win win right? The BH screws up and cant track properly. IW says what do you need from us. They prob just keep sayin"We got this". IW say this is horrible rep for us, what can we do to help you, they say" We got this".  The alternative for IW is worse. Canceling Elite.

Clan ops were not tested in the beta. Thats what we're talking about here correct? And Im not a fan of Beachhead. Just trying to make people understand that they are two separate companies. I dont believe it should have taken this kind of time. As I stated, if I ere IW I wouldnt re-up the contract with them...but only time will tell.

I hope they fix the award system before they start listing new ops.  Some of us haven't gotten our xp or badges yet.

Was really dissapointed in the clan ops and in elite on the whole. Was expected there to be more clan vrs clans but it was just the same old clans vrs unorginized lobbys.Would love to see a regional challenge system for clans implemented in elite clan ops etc challenge the clan ahead of you on the leaderboards and you move up a ranking and gain xp that way and your lone wolf ops xp goes to the clan aswell. etc.We ended up coming second in the first clan ops but not sure if id do it again...

At the rate Clan Ops are going, my clan will never reach level 50 by the time my 1 year of ELITE expires, and I don't think i'll be renewing it because of all the crap.

I don't get why it takes so long to get the clan operations going on a REGULAR basis! I agree with Aero it will take forever at this rate to get the clan ranked up. And what is with the Double xp weekend? why can't it happen more often? It only beneifts the player and makes us want to play more. It's not like it cost Elite anything to do it. The whole thing is just stupid! Give us what we want and we will keep paying for this crap!

    Re: Clan operations schedule

It's a broken system.  And to piggyback on NZ, I thought the Clan Ops was supposed to be clan v clan.  It totally would have been cool, but then the organization of clans to play at certain times on certain days all over the globe wouldn't work.  This system works, it is just the application of the product that is poor.  And very poor at that.

Everywhere you go, every company you work for, they are all about the money.  Of course, that is capitalism.  They all push, push, push to get their product to market as soon as possible and things are bound to get screwed up in the process.  Guaranteed.  There are not many companies that take the time to vet as many problems as they can from products before release.  Because, no release means no sales and that mean lost revenue.

For ELITE and the CoD series, all they need to do is keep the community apprised of there doings for fixes and work their arses off to fix them.  And prove to the community that you are fixing things.

      Re: Clan operations schedule

Clan Ops simply is not functioning on a subscriber level we all know that. Bank holiday weekend yet 1 op's based on the typical california times. Thing's a complete sham.

What (as a semi-reporter for GaminGuys) bothers me, is that this will damage the series as a whole. I don't care where the blame lies, chances are, we will as individuals all be ignored as usual, however, when you have EA, Community and News posted against you on a regular basis, people take a view on things. It's the view that does the exponential damage.

I think whoever is running Elite, need to appoint an in your face PR Guru, to replace Robert hell stick Larry Hyrb in the limelight, he used to love it until he went a bit far on the bans.

BeachHead IW COD needs damage control on a high to major level right now.

      Information is not forthcoming.

      Subscribers are not happy.

      Hell I'm not happy either.

This is all bulls***.  The isn't the first "clan ops" match canceled, and from Activisions consistency isn't the last.  You guys do great a pissing everyone off while making record profits, luckily next year your company won't be doing so well.  I'm sick of Activsion and sick of UK modders.

Also, you guys still owe my clan 500 clan xp points from being a founder when I purchased your horrific product on 11/11/11.  Somehow joing my neighbors clan didn't transfer my 500 clan xp for being a founder and your support staff never gets back to me, I've filed this issue, and called mulitiple times with no success since December 2011.  Thanks for nothing.

It is illigal in any United State to offer a paid for premium service and not provide the service that one is paying for, example: "Clan Ops Live", the whole reason - DLC's ,why people joined your stupid Elite cult in the first place.  Enjoy spending our money jerks...

    Re: Clan operations schedule

The clan ops are the biggest joke on mw3 1 or 2 but only at the weekend. At this rate most smaller clans will never rank-up. Also I live in the UK and the clan ops always seem to be at stupid o'clock. I understand that members in the USA like to play but what about the rest of us and not everyone plays core I and most of my clan play hardcore most of the time clan ops should be every day every time your clan members play they should be adding clan xp even if it was for every 10,000000 xp earned your clan gains x amount of clan xp.
