It's quite possible that, though the video doesn't show this, the Reaper was at an angle that prevented the SAM Turret from aiming at it (behind the mountain or something). Also possible that the Reaper just flies too high as, IIRC, they and the AC-130 both fly higher than UAVs, Attack Helicopters, Pave Lows, and others, so possibly beyond the SAM Turret's range.

The idiot put his Sam turret too close to the mountain, I hate when players don't place it in an open area. Also Sam turrets still shoot down reapers and ac130's, they fly high but the Sam turret still shoot them down.. (I know from personal experience)

  there could have also been a jammer next to it. I'm not 100% sure but I think jammers disable equipment

    Even if jammers do disrupt equipment, the turret wasn't disabled, if it was you would see sparks flying out from it

      I think he means Scramblers as Scramblers would make the Turret "think" there was nothing there, but still move around looking, I think?
