Cannot Change Password - "Request could not be completed"

Whenever I try to change my password on Elite, it simply tells me that "Your request could not be completed at this moment. Please try later."
What in the world is that supposed to mean? I've tried changing it four times every hour for the last six hours. None have been successful. I've tried every weekend since Elite launched back in November. At first, I simply thought it was some issue on their side, and that it'd be fixed soon. Acceptable since Elite just launched and it was still buggy.
Now, however, Elite has launched and it's been in operation for months already. WHY is the password management STILL broken?
I want to buy a CoD Elite Premium Membership, I really do. But everytime I visit the site, along with its corresponding mobile/console apps, I'm simply convinced that this is a rushed product that is buggy and glitchy to the point that it might, quite possibly, be unstable. I am NOT investing in something where I cannot even change my account credentials (above the numerous other glitches). This is ridiculous and nonsensical. I knew the standards for anything Call of Duty were mediocre at best, but honestly, having a nonfunctional product is completely unnacceptable.
And this is coming from a guy who's bought every Map Pack since CoD4. I laugh at how glitchy Elite is; to the point that I'm ashamed to be a CoD fanatic.
