Black Ops is more modern then MW3

  That makes no sense, unless blops was the first cod you played and you thought it was the only one to have those weekends.

I agree with jelysickle./ You can buy it at any point so probably not.

Though if they do it would probably tie in with the map pack releases.

Nuketown 24/7 double xp weekends were great that's when i had long sessions. Dome 24/7 or any other map sounds horrible and i would quit after 3 games. Some double xp/weapon xp would be nice though leveling up is such a grind

  24/7 dome would be far far better than nuketown. 24/7 nes turtles is better than nuketown

Treyarch was definitely a LOT more generous with it's double XP. I did my share of complaining about Black Ops but MW3 makes be long for the good 'ol days.

It'll probably be when the DLC drops. Personally, I think Elite should get x2XP weekends with every drop since Elite isn't living up to it's word. That's just me though.

On 402's twitter he said they will have 2XP Days not weekends.
But it's 402 so take it for what it worth.
