Taking out Ospreys with one Javelin shell.

Would LOVE for this to be fixed... i love how it ruins guys who run support but the assault one can be taken out too! Hopefully they can notice this and fix it!

  Im assuming so, usally AH-6 flares a javelin, BUT if it hits it on its way down, it can't flare it, i think the same works if you send a javelin for an ospreys landing spot, one shot kill, BUT. you wont kill any enemys underneath if it lands ontop of it, this way you get a ton of kills, and a destroy

      you can also stand underneath the osprey.... it can't flare your rocket if the rocket is being shoved up the ospreys butt

If you work with your team and fire two rockets at the same time the osprey goes down before any packages drop also. The flares only take care of one of the rockets

  It takes 3 stingers too take it out dude. and the javelins get flared. Either way you can't rely on your team. this is an easy way to take it out yourself, easily.

    I can rely on my team because I play in a party. Either we fire at the same time or we just use one of the many emp we have.

        LOL work for your streaks? Maybe if they didn't stack, not hard to throw a ped missle then heli and ac-130.

        Attitude? Lol ok then. But i tend to run spec, not assault. so no such thing as stacking when it comes to me unless i run assault, and typically i do >solo que< but everynow and then i party up with 2-3 mates, none of which run support.

        Free feel to look at my classes on elite and pretty much all are specialist classes. But when I play an objective game I play to win. If that means I support my team with a support class I will. My friends and I don't play objectives games to rack up kills, we play to win the match. I'm sorry if you get butt hurt over how someone else plays.

        Cheers. I was explicitly told on here when I asked for tips that when it comes to Domination, run support, because I am not yet at a place in my skill-level where I am an assasin who can go out and build massive killstreaks. The key is to CONTRIBUTE to winning the game the best way you can. For me, that is running a support package. Now for others who can take out the enemy while also taking objectives, I don't care if they go assault 24/7, but to look down your nose at those who use support? I don't know, just seems kind of backwards.

        Butthurt? na just find it funny lol. Considering the only 2 things in support that benifit your team are, vests and uav, and AUAV, sure. other then that support should be removed.
        
        But lol, this can happen in any game type, so it would help while your running spec? But ok you started all this over basically saying "i play like this, dun effects me" when theres how many others in the game this could help?

        Support Strike Package
        UAV (4 kills) - you named
        Counter UAV (5 kills)
        Ballistic Vests (5 kills) - you named
        SAM Turret (8 kills)
        Recon Drone (10 kills)
        Advanced UAV (12 kills) - you named
        Stealth Bomber (14 kills)

        Stealth bomber dosent help, it just pads your k/d.
        
        Counter uav isn't needed if you run spec/silencer. Sam turret is soso, better just running a stinger as its faster and gets you a point streak. Emp again only stops killstreaks if your running spec it means nothing.
        
        Recon drone is soso.

        Not everyone on a team runs the same killstreaks. Not everyone on the team is off the radar 100% of the time, so as a group you work together to make sure the other team's killstreaks don't matter.

        The rest of my team dosent usally bother me if im not in a party, since i can usally pull the game around in my favour in most lobbys by myself anyways.

        you must fail to understand what SUPPORT means.
        yes, a bomber supports your team... much like the napalm in black ops.. it lays a blanket down in an area and allows your team a little extra time to take care of what they are doing...
        recon drone is awesome too as it paints the enemy...not sure where you don't get support from that...
        emp supports your team by removing the enemy air support...
        ballistic vests for the entire team...screams support to me.
        Decoy package.. meh
        jugg with a shield... it's ok in most cases.. great for defender
        uav,cuav auav... self-explanatory

        The uav's do there job, so does everything else in its own way, but anything envolving getting you a kill in support, Isn't supporting your team, nor should it be there in the first place.
        
        And stealth bomber is mainly a kill thing, The only time it can save a flag, is if you guess there going to jump on it, or there just extremely bad players. I have capped nearly every single flag when a guys tryed to stealth bomb me off it.
        
        Napalm was supportive because it acted as a border, stealth bomber does not, its just a 2-3 second thing for a few kills, napalm stayed and prevented the enemy from crossing = supportive.

dude, if you are running blind eye pro, you can take out everything but the ac130 with mp7 extended mags and silencer. the osprey support goes down with fmg9 akimbos, and a little ammo of the mp7. ah 6 overwatch, uav, attack copter... less than a full mp7 extended mag. air support is pathetic in this game.

  Yep well thats if your running that perk. This is the easiest way to take them out, with one launcher, and possibly 4+ kills at the same time, i can see ALOT of 9 man jav+osprey take outs with this, easily.

Awesome! I have never seen this. It has never happened to any of mine but in the future I will have to make sure that I have a javelin on a class to take out someone elses.

Awesome, the less welfare streaks in the air, the better. I only run Specialist on all my classes because I use SOH as my first streak. If I always had SOH as a 4th perk, i'd run Assault all the time on every class like a boss.
