    Re: DROP SHOT

These days, in MW3, whenever I see people counter people with "adapt to it" that tends to mean "copy them and do it too". Kind of contradictory to accuse people of complaining because they "want others to play like they do", yet their very suggestions to people is to do just that, play like OTHERS play. while veiling it under the guise of "adapting".

    Re: DROP SHOT

You're talking about a term related to a video game...it's called a drop shot, so I'll call it drop shotting. Drop shooting just sounds retarded, and I'm sorry but this isn't scripps nat'l spelling bee. It's a tactic. Plain and simple.

    Re: DROP SHOT

Because it is a punk move, some people actually want to play a game without the cheap tactics

Unfortunately, what's cheap to one person is a tactic to another.

Oh go on with that. Ur just slow and mushy. "hmmph, me get angry when people move. Me can't react that fast, hmmph." ...Tromps off in anger all slow and bumbling.

I think they need to get rid of the jump and go prone in midair crap.

I take it you weren't a fan of the dolphin dive on Black Ops.

Im an all around drop shot run and gun kind of guy. If they/you want drop shoting to go away then I want QS'ing and camping to go away. Drop shoting is like the biggest thing in MLG play style so I dont see it going away anytime soon.

"QS'ing and drop shot" isn't true to life, but "camping" is. However, if I wanted real life I'd join the armed forces.

Feels like the panic knifing for Tactical Button users. No offense to them or anything, but considering the button layout where melee is simply swapped with crouching/prone, then rather than panic knifing, you drop while firing, lol.

For me, you hit the nail right on the head.  I'm a medium to long range player normally.  When I see an enemy, I naturally push down on the right stick.  I've tried to stop, but I can't!  So instead of swinging my knife, I find it's more advantagous to use the tactical layout and drop to a knee or prone instead of panic knifing.  That's the only reason I do it.  So I can actually shoot at someone instead of swing my knife at someone 30 yards away before I can shoot again.

I don't profess to be all that good, but switching to the tactical layout has improved my game.
