26 killstreak and no moab

So i was just playing domination, and had probably my best match ever. I started off 48-0, and didn't get the nuke. I was thinking man i had to get atleast 25 kills with my gun. After the match ended i checked the barracks, and my new killstreak was 26. So how didnt i get the nuke i was so jacked, it would of been my first one.

    It's gun/knife/lethal only. If you got a kill with a predator/helo/etc...then that will restart your M.O.A.B. streak. So long story short 25 kills (24 w/hardline) GUN ONLY (knife and grenade are included)...and your good to go.

      Yeah i know killstreaks don't count towards an moab. In the barracks though my new killstreak is 26. Which i thought that your killstreak in the barracks was no killstreaks included too. I don't think if you get a kill with your killstreaks though it resets your moab streak. I just watched a video like right before i got that killstreak, and the guy used his assault killstreaks, and still got it.

      Thats why I didn't get my MOAB in Underground with G36C because of airstrikes and Predator missiles.

    Assault kills count to the streak from what I know.

     

    my best kill streak is 28 however I didn't get a MOAB cause I only got 19 or something kills with guns. But I got a 25 killstreak just with guns and it counted.

    You's do realise that a m.o.a.b is only available to the specialist strick package?

      No it's not like i said i just watched a video where a guy got it with assault killstreaks. it's just that if you get any kills from the streaks they don't count. People just use specialist to get an moab most of the time, because its alot easier to keep track of your killstreak. I think i found the problem though. I just watched another video where the same thing happend to this guy that happend to me. People left comments saying when you hit your second rotation of killstreaks. They will register as gun kills for some reason if they kill people.

        Those guys are retarted don't listen to them. What is your setup as far as your killsteaks? And killstreaks do count towards your killstreak in barracks, except say you are running predator missle, reaper, and ac-130, the ac-130 won't count towards your killstreak because its not able to get you another assault killstreak, if that makes sense. you can start a match 26-0 by using the predator missle and reaper and if you get 13 kills with the ac-130 then your kill streak will be 26 not 39.

      Okay first off if you are an idiot MOAB is available with all strike packages, second if you dont know dont answer it makes you look like a fool.

          I stopped reading after 48-0 in Domination, you get that in TDM and then I'll be impressed, 48-0 in Domination equals scrub fest.

            Maybe thats why you didn't get the point, because it didnt have anything to do with about bragging. I'll also just keep playing domination, because i like playing a game mode with an objective. My k/d is only 1.13 because all i really play is domination. I actually capture flags though i don't just camp like most players do to boost they're k/d. My k/d in TDM is like 2 though, because it's all about kills in that game mode. I haven't had that good of a start in TDM yet, but i have started off like 28-0.

              yea i was gona say sumit similar lol....dont think he knew what this thread was about...

               

              I thought i done well getting 16-0 and 3 caps in HC DOM.... and we won...and i didnt camp...and i defened flag "B"....

                I remember back when i played waw i always played FFA. I used to camp so much lol my k/d was like 2.50, and thats all i pretty much cared about. Then i started getting into domination, and i realized k/d wasn't everything. So now i just try holding as good of a k/d as i can while making sure atleast 2 flags are capped at all times. I love it though when there is campers on the other team, and you see them going like 30-5 or something. While im like 25-15 but i have like a 1000 more score and my team wins.

                  well im glad you have come out of your campy ways and i respect that you have come clean and have realised that there is so much more to this game than K/D (which imo ruins this game in some ways)

                   

                  I know what you mean also lol...ive had half the kills as some guys but double their score as im cap mad...

                   

                  you sound like a good Dom player to me and have a great attitude towards DOM

                    Yeah well that was the first cod game i played lol. I still do like to try keeping my k/d decent, but i wanna have good k/d while having good score per min. I don't have the best k/d out of my friend's, but i do have the best score to time played ratio. I have a couple of friend's too that are all about thier k/d. We'll join a match, and if we're getting crushed they'll back out as soon as they start doing bad. I personally like the competition whats the point of having a good k/d when you know you'll back out when your playing the best. I'll stay in the lobby just to have the satisfaction of beating someone else that is actually good. Isn't the saying you gotta beat the best to be the best lol.

      The M.O.A.B is available in all packages. Specialist just happens to be a 24 straight gun kill, while the others are 25.

       

      Here's what I think happened. You might have been on a streak with your guns, called in a few pred. missles/airstrikes and gotten a few kills. (Which will reset your M.O.A.B kill streak) killed a few more people with your guns, and repeated the process over. So it is possible to have a 26+ killstreak with weapons and no M.O.A.B.

    The barracks kill streak is not supposed to count assault kills toward its tally, but it does in certain circumstances... I haven't figured out the exact circumstances, but I know from time to time it counts predators and air strikes. You'll have go through your video and count individual kills.

      Yeah like i said before i watched this video where the same thing happend to this one guy. Someone left a comment saying when you get your last killstreak, and it resets the second time around the assault kills will register as gun kills for some reason.

        Yeah it's something like this, but it didn't count all of the assault stuff (no pave low kills counted the second time through or reaper). I wish I had the time to play with it to find out exactly why it counts them sometimes but not others.

         

        I'd suggest checking out that particular game on Elite to see if it has your kill streak as 26 or something else.

          Thanks for the good idea. I went to the match on elite, and checked out the heat map. I switched it to timeline mode, and counted all the gun kills until my first death. I only got 19 kills so wasn't even as close as i thought. Thats crazy though that means i got 29 kills with killstreaks.

    Wow since i check out elite i don't feel all that good about that streak. Not one of the people on the other team had a k/d above 1. One guy's k/d was .44 lol.

    what i found is i got a 33 killstreak no moab, but i only got 12 kills with guns, the rest was ac130, then osprey gunner, but none of my osprey kills counted to my killstreak. map was dome, got 21 kills with ac130, and 29 more with the osprey, since i ended up 62-0. I think the first 2 rewards add to your killstreak but the 3rd doesnt, same as it doesnt count to your reset pointstreak.

    Instead of basing it off the barracks, go to theater and make sure you had 25 gun kills in a row.

    Post video here so we can check it out for you. Not saying its not true, but just will check it out for you to make sure you didn't miss anything (which I'm sure is the case)

     

     

    BTW barracks killstreak does NOT count any of your support or assault kills. I started a HC Domination match out 78-0 and my killstreak was only 39. Also your long killstreak will also continue from one game to the next. So if you end a game on a 7 kill streak and start next one on a 28 your new long killstreak in barracks will be 35. This will only happen if you don't turn your Xbox off (this has been verified by many people here and in lobbies). That was my long killstreak in barracks until I got the 39 in a row.

    Okay here we go.

     

    My theory on this subject.

     

    I run CP, Pred, Cobra on most of my classes. I get my CP and then my pred. If I use my pred and kill one person I get one kill towards my cobra then move on to call my CP.

     

    BUT if I get my pred and then call in my CP and get another pred any kills I get with both of those preds count towards my cobra. But if I get a pred in a CP before earning my actual pred any kills I get with that pred don't count towards my KS.

     

    For this reason I try to call in my CP before I get my predator. If I get another predator that's two shots at earning my next KS.

     

    If you're running CP this could explain why it counts towards your KS count but not your moab. Same would apply to precision airstrikes.

     

    Anyone follow me here?

      Actually that is wrong because no strike packages count toward your long killstreak. It counts toward your killstreak for other killstreaks. Care package contents do not count toward your strike package killstreaks including sentry guns, juggernaut, and airdrops.

    Ive gotten a 43 gunstreak without getting a MOAB. For some reason, putting out killstreaks ruin the streak somehow.

     

    On the other hand, Ive gotten a MOAB for having on hardline pro and getting 26 assists with an osprey gunner. So I really dont know the exact issue with the MOAB.

    man this is painful reading the replies from some of these people. completely clueless!

     

    what happened was you got robbed... plain and simple.. glitch in the system where something went wrong. no other way to put it...

     

    were you possibly using an assault drone?

    Did I read correct you were on ground war I'm sure it's more than 25its more like 30 something 6v6 based game modes apart from snd yes 25 that's the simple answer m8

    If you picked another class to switch to incase you did die, even if it was the same one, it will reset MOAB streaks. Normal pointstreaks will continue until you die (Except for support).

    As far as I'm aware of your killstreak carries on from the game before, as in at the end of the previous game you were on a 2 killstreak then got a 24 killstreak with guns at the start of the next it would show as a 26 streak in your barracks, hope this helps.
