i used the type 95 for a while and got called noob a lot of times, but to be sincere here its not really easy to use it, first of all you dont have auto fire you do have to pull the trigger several times, then the most common complain is that they kill you very fast with one shot, yeah like QS dont, compared there one of them definitely shouldnt be doing that from close range. anyway the problem is most people just wont like you very much if you use it because if you are already a good shot youll have a very easy kill frenzy using type 95.
the striker...its good in small maps, if you play DZ youll hate it since people just run in the DZ no aim not even a hint of who is there theyll just run in and pull the trigger like crazy, most of the time theyll get you and youll end up wondering what the hell happened.
pp90 very fast very popular you dont even need to put anything on that one. iron sights and maybe impact and thats it.
and on the nerfing. i hope not, i dont think they should nerf anything, if theyre going to start nerfing guns and changing things just because people are whinning then they should start by taking out the QS first. and just to make it clear here, i used to not care about QS but lately there are to many. but not to worry they wont nerf that for sure. means money to them. lots of kids would just leave and controllers would stop selling (even if its not their businness)

Please dont use it, i just played a match with a bunch of 10 year olds with rapid fire typre 95s, i hate them SOOO much now. I miss CoD 5 where everything was fun. I tried using the MOdel and got owned by those campers. I think that they should either taise the level unlocked for it, or nerf the rate of fire. these are my opinions, dont flame

Out of the listed, I actually don't really have a problem with the Type 95. Not SO much a problem with the Striker. (More of a problem with how generally inferior most of the others, primarily the pump action, are since I DO want to level them up.)
But as a user and on the receiving end, Akimbos of any kind and the PP90M1 are up there, despite also frequent use of the UMP, P90, and MP7. PP90M1 and MP7 are the most highly used ones I've come across anyway and always seem to "instant" kill people because of Rapid Fire and such.

I think the only problem is the fmg akimbo, and only because its a secondary. I am happy to use primarly my KSG and .44s against any gun in the game, even if theyre not the best, because I choose my weaponry based on its feel, not how good it is.
Many people will pass over weapons that arent the best, but my suggestion to all of you who are crying about OP s*** is to just try using some of the rarer weapons. When you do well, it is much more gratifying than getting that same pp90/FMG/MP7/Striker killkam everyones seen a million times already. A win is much greater in my opinion if your opponent respects you even after losing to you, which isnt the case if your using the most powerful weapons in the game. Stop worrying about gun balance and use whatever the f*** feels most badass. Leave the powerful guns to the lesser players and challenge yourself.

I use the type 95 and I love it... "oh its a newb gun" blah blah blah.... it takes aim and usually 2 burts to kill them from long distance... It shouldent be nerfed..
as for the rest.... a lot of people use them and I do HATE getting killed by akimbos and strikers all the time but oh well, use what you like and enjoy the game.. IMO no gun needs nerfing... if you think a gun should be nerfed because you get owned by it all the time... get good with that weapon and start doing the owning yourself.

The type and fmgs still bother me sometimes, the striker doesn't bother me anymore. The mp7 and pp90 both get on my nerves a lot. They both just hose me down with their superior fire rate. That's how they're supposed to be though, it's just that they do so well since most maps are small. The larger maps I almost never get killed by them.
Currently Being ModeratedFeb 14, 2012 11:43 PM (in response to pokeshuriken)Re: Type 95, Striker, FMG9, and PP90
I can honestly say nothing wrecks an Assault Killstreak like Striker noobs, Type 95 noobs, or persons using PP90. The PP90 is rather annoying with the MP7 also being similar in nuisance, because the UMP45 and P90 have stats I like, yet their recoil ruins the experience absolutely! Also the PP90 doesn't just have fire rate, it only takes 3 bullets to kill. It's not ONE factor, it is several factors... FMG9 isn't OP at all at this time. I have the Emblem for the MP9, but not for the FMG9. That should tell you something. Both as Akimbo and Extended Mags, I prefer MP9 EVERY time.
The Type 95 is inherently overpowered. It's a 3 burst per trigger pull which only requires two bullets to kill. You can literally put steady aim on it and act as if it was as SMG! I've seen it done, and I don't even use the Type 95 anymore because it is so overpowered. As if that were not enough, it will still one-burst with a silencer (not sure if 100% of the time, but quite, quite often I believe...)
Humans do not think on an "overall picture" basis in combat. We think about one target at a time, dispatching one, then the next. Our brains are much more easily hardwired to a burst mode than auto-matic. This is why kills become so much easier for type 95 users... You don't have to consider your ammunition, it is pre-calculated for you in a burst, and an overpowered burst at that. As stated before, two hits kill in close engagements.
My problem with Modern Warfare 3 weaponry is it keeps attempting to have some bizarre "balance", and yet also be realistic, when the Type 95, Striker, killstreak-blockers and overly used PP90/MP7 show an obviously hardcore tending towards these weapons. There will always be some bizarre persons that just like the "feel" of this or that gun regardless of it's performance because on some consious or subconsious level it just syncs better, requires less effort, etc.
If it doesn't feel right in the middle of those, we should go towards the real world or the balance world, not a crapilly thought out middleman dictatorship of weapons.

I hate the striker but If I get ravaged by it a few times, I will pick it up and almost always kill the original owner at least once with it. 100% satisfying.
Every gun has it purpose. None are OP because all have a counter.
Currently Being ModeratedFeb 15, 2012 7:15 AM (in response to JustinNH)Re: Type 95, Striker, FMG9, and PP90
The only one I dont really like is the striker since people using steady aim can hip fire you from longer than effective smg range and kill you rather quickly. But, I dont let this bother me but so much because I should still be able to kill them quickly with a different gun. Im also not a fan of the akimbo FMGs so when I see people using those, I stay in long range areas and mow them down. There are ways around all of these guns, and none are truely overpowered if you can just adjust your style to counter them.
(meant to respond to OP, not sure how to change this)

I think a big problem with the pp90m1 is that it hip fires too well. It's other properties are strong, so I think the spread should be wider, but that's just me. Hip-fire in general is a little too accurate, but you just gotta roll with it.
I'd say most of these guns are pretty cheap, but if that's what you're liking, then use them.
I really only get frustrated with the akimbo-FMG-as-primary crowd. Very annoying.
Currently Being ModeratedFeb 15, 2012 7:53 AM (in response to topherlive)Re: Type 95, Striker, FMG9, and PP90
People need to man up an quit crying about guns being over powered. I think a bigger issue was the quick scope, Black Ops did not have that issue and I think it was a better experience. I hear type 95 users taking crap. how come people who use Automatic guns are not given a hard time because they can just hold down the trigger and spray. Sure there are things that annoy me as well. Akimbo accuracy is a little more accurate than I think it should be, but im not going to cry about it. Quick Scoping to me is totally ridicules. when a guy shoots someone while the screen is still completely black because he has not even gotten the scope up yet? retarded. I would rather have a sniper camp and get me. at least that is the nature of a true sniper. not running around using it like a shot gun. Sniping should be harder to do, due to the powerful nature of their weaponry.

"They only complain in an attempt to cover up their inability to adapt." That pretty much sums it up. Being Cod is very competitive, no one likes being beat by other players with guns that are used the most. Abd beating a player using a gun everyone uses (type 95, striker, fmg's) with a gun that is not popular is definitely possible, they just cant, which takes my whole point back to what I quoted.

i love using the type 95 then watching people cry when i kill them.im supposed to use a gun that i suck with so they can kill me..to bad i use what works for me.go ahead call me a n00b ill do the same to you because you use a gun that you are good with.

I love the ppm90 with fire rate, it's fun but you have to wield it correctly. Also, why shouldn't the type 95 be powerful? Kind of the point of a 3 round burst vs. full auto, no? If you can only squeeze off 3 at a time you better be accurate and dropping guys or you won't stand a chance. I'm getting better with it and enjoy it but there are many times people with the faster gun nail me every time.
I think all of the guns are balanced pretty well other then the akimbo pos guns, for just shooting via no scoping they are way to accurate. But other then those I don't have to many complaints so far.
Currently Being ModeratedFeb 15, 2012 6:27 PM (in response to nickpeck36)Re: Type 95, Striker, FMG9, and PP90
The m16 cannot compare to the type95. They are both a 3-burst shot but the type95 does 55 damage and fires 1000rpm. It does 45 damage and fires 780rpm. It is easier to land hits on someone when a gun fires faster since the bullets are closer together. I just don't see an argument that could support the m16 as being the better gun statistically. Slower firing guns should be more powerful and the faster firing guns should be less powerful. It seems to be that way with the other weapons. The cm9 and the ak-47 have high power but slower fire rates. The FAD shoot very fast, but has low damage. The type95 seems unbalanced to me with it's high damage and high fire rate.

Not all guns are created equally.
Some guns kill better at close range,
Some guns are better at long range,
Some guns have wonderful attachments,
Some guns do not,
Some guns shoot really fast,
Some guns do not,
Some people complain about anything,
Like a throwing knife against the Type95,
Some games have given years of fun,
Some gaming communities are garabage,
Guns Kill in many different ways okay,
If you don't like it...
Don't play the CoDDa*n game!

mp7 across map 5 bullet kill, lsw across map 5 bullet kill, with the lack of mp7 recoil whats the point of lmgs ?
lmgs should have no damage drop off
smgs should have a max range
striker is proper annoying, needs something doin
machine pistols should be put in the bin, all of them
deathstreaks should be put in the bin
jobs a goodun

fmg : op for live with akimbo
type 95 : op for live
pp90 : just f.. you
striker : a weapon for the baddest of all because you dont need to aim
every good player playing it is a jfz7584w982qhfhdsi
Acr : complete op
but know listen MP7 is comlete from the ground up over powered and suck in so much ways. i can kill a sniper with full automatik shooting over the intire map .
but hey i love the game and dont care about these weapons or campers. i play my support killstreak and got my 18 streaks every round so it still makes fun to me.
my favorite weapons are : Mp5 sd , modell , cm90blabla , L96 blindeye ghost steady aim

T95 Yep fun op gun cqb to mid when the connection is on your side it feels like a HC gun in core.
Fmgs yep OP cqb, they make jugg users look silly as a job
Striker - half a boner now, was definitely a beast with extended mags and damage, though a beast shotgun is a great thing imo
PP90, best smg cqb, but there are better guns all-round in the game.
Currently Being ModeratedFeb 15, 2012 6:30 PM (in response to pokeshuriken)Re: Type 95, Striker, FMG9, and PP90
well they nerfed type 95, now the spread on hip fire each bullet goes on different directions. i think this was a bad move, i mean they have QS no one is doing anything to correct it, but they nerf other guns? sheesh anyway i guess people will have to just settle for what the majority likes so they dont end up nerfing it...
Currently Being ModeratedFeb 16, 2012 4:47 AM (in response to pokeshuriken)Re: Type 95, Striker, FMG9, and PP90
ive used the type 95 for a whole prestige trying to get 2500 kils with it and its pretty amazing gun i love it , its not cheap at all if your accuracy is good then you've got a kill every time , FMG9 are way to powerful they do need to be put down abit or take akimbo of them , no gun is overpowered so i dunno why people say that for they might just cant handle the gun or summit

-T95 was banned by GB/MLG...cheap
-PP90M1 cannot stand against MP7 or P90...not cheap
-Striker is for kids with Down's who cannot kill anyone with "more skilled" weapons...cheap
-FMG9 is a good spray and pray with AKIMBO but with a single it is still a spray n pray...cheap
-sidenote...ACR is a weapon that assclowns use because everyelse uses, kills like crazy at all lengths and challenges the MK-14...cheapest gun in the game
G36C and M4A1...BOAT
