Okay.... I belive that there was a patch sent out recently to fix sound issues for the PS3. Let me double check on that, okay?Victor
Is there anything that can be done to compensate me for my loss? I am sure that you can figure out that my speakers are turned up loud when I play.Victor
This has happened since the patches have come out.Victor
On the official activision forums we have labeled this an "Audio EMP". Sometimes sound will come back on, others you have to restart the entire console for sound to work again,Randy D.

There is no rhyme or reason as to when, and if, it happens. Scares the crap out of everyone, including the dogs.Victor
So what can be done about compensation for my speaker damage? Thankfully I have not lost some of those super expensive headphones like lots of others have, but it is not my fault that the audio is corrupt on MW3.Randy D.
