Afghan was one of the best maps in MW2 in my opinion. It wasn't one sided at all. Loved sniping on that map. Hope they bring it back in MW3 in DLC

I also never played waw so that explains that

Fuel is my most hated map! I love how WAW has no maps in this top ten! Awesome!

@OP: The main (unstated) thing I got from your list (which was nicely done btw) was this: People tend to hate maps that superficially "look like" they cater to a particular playstyle, but, in reality, deliver better results with a different (often counter-intuitive) playstyle.
For example: Downturn, Array, Outpost -- these are GREAT shotgun/SMG maps that cater to rushing/flanking (so long as you have a good idea how the spawns work and how traffic flows); yet people try to play them as sniper/AR maps, leading to frustration & loathing when a more reserved playstyle means seldom seeing an enemy.
Of course, some maps just legitimately suck (Estate, I'm looking @ you.)

I myself enjoyed most of the BO maps. Then again I played Search a majority of the time. MW3 maps are decent IMO I just can't stand some of the bomb locations for Search and Demolition.

Your sort of right. This list wasnt made by me, it was from hundreds of votes. But in terms of the reasons why i said each map was bad, yeah domination and team deathmatch are pretty much the only game modes im referring to. Since those are mostly the only two game modes i play, thats what i had to base the reasoning off of

Why then thankyou ! Yes that os typically true. I can agree with that , of course different maps are better with different gametypes. Eg ; skidrow: horrible in ffa, td . Amazing in demo, search and dominationh . Same with say village. I hatttteee it in TD but loove it in domination . And im a big domination fan. So all these maps apply more to this.

And yes; i totally agree with you. We think alike. I like your counter to my list :) xbox or ps3?

least fave maps in MW3 for me are Carbon, Downturn, and Resistance... Think I hate Resistance even more just because of the fact that everyone always seems to vote for it....

hahaha my 2 favourite maps from MW3 is downturn, closely followed by outpost in second place
