Activision does not care, AGAIN !!!

My statement:

 

I have been following this subject with a vested interest as a PS3 User and a Founder on Call of Duty Elite.

It seems that we PS3 users are now getting the blame for Activision not fully thinking out Call of Duty Elite and most likely not Considering MS when thinking up this idea ?

So where dose this leave Call of Duty Elite members, looking at having to wait until all Xbox users have the new DLC for at lest 30 days, just like before. having to wait ?

But this then brings up a very good point, yes MS and Activision have a contract, we might not know the details but Activision and MS do, so if Activision decided to bring out a new Service and Imply (We will say Imply and not promise at this time) that PS3 users would get DLC content sooner then the normal 30 day wait, then us the PS3 user would in good faith belive that this would all be above board and sorted out ? and as such would not have to assume incorrectly anything ?

So now we have Activision quoting all sorts of things on there web site saying we the PS3 users got it wrong and assumed that we would get the DLC early ?

Ok then Could someone from Activison please explain to me why I have in my PS3 MW3 Hardened Box set a Founders booklet that clearly States:

MONTHLY DOWNLOADABLE MW3 CONTENT

Love Map Packs, But Hate The Wait ? That Ends Now. With Call of Duty Elite. You Get New Monthly MW3 DLC Released over Nine Months. Included In Your Call of Duty Elite Membership.




Ok so it clearly says:

"Love Map Packs, But Hate The Wait ?" the only wait we normally have is the 30 Day wait (MS Contract)


"That Ends Now, With Call of Duty Elite" But now it dose not end it just stays the same ?


The Founders Booklet is a Hard Copy and c an not be changed, Updated or Removed. So we have a Activision Official Booklet, which they seem to have forgot about, which now proves that we the PS3 users are being ripped off, Mislead and lied to.

 

What do you guys think about this???

      Totally agree. Activision don't care about PS3 gamers. From the beginning they know that they had a deal with MS for the month earlier mappacks. They only "forgot" to tell the people who paid 50 euro's (or Dollars) for Elite. They also knew that the service never should work directly after the launch but they gave us an extra month for "free", thinking that we are happy (or stupid). Another big issue is that they never respond on this kind of feedback, thats really annoying too. Before releases you get almost killed by Call of duty news, after launch you hear nothing anymore. I really feel ripped off but i learned one good lesson. I never buy anything anymore from Activision right after or, like Elite, before release to get some "benefits". Because it's more frustrating than benefits.

       

      Don't blame me for my english, i'm a Dutch guy.

      That is YOU misreading the booklet; when it states that waiting ends, it means waiting for months for full map packs, now that we get monthly DLC, no where does it state that the 30 day wait is involved in that.

       

      The contract has been in place since MW2, anyone who thought ELITE would change that was deluded. On ELITES website the FAQ has ALWAYS stated that you will recieve content first, on YOUR console, not at the same time.

    *facepalm*

     

    As stated so many times, Activision still has a contract with Microsoft so that 360 users get content first. Breaking that contract would be bad for both companies, and it's money that makes games.

     

    Also, just like the rep said, everyone person [across all platforms, at some time or another] heard something said about MW3, and believed it meant something else. Activision didn't lie, they're not in the wrong here. And besides, the content for ps3 users is releasing soon, be patient, it's only two maps.
