Long video by oTradeMark but if you have the time I found this to be very insightful, especially if you're the kind of person who trolls comment boards with the word "impossible". Watch this mofo score caps.
At 1:56 in the video he gets +37 points. This isn't even an obtainable score. Right there should tell you something is fishy about the gameplay.
150 points for capping
50 points for kills
10 points for assists
Also, when he is talking about his strategy and how he won the Jeep, he states "we won the jeep". He wouldn't use the word "we" unless he was doing these competitions with a partner in the terms of boosting. At 14:58 in the video he says the adjusted "our strategy" again highlighting the fact that he was doing these competitions with partners. Then, goes on to say how "we lost by nine defends." Essentially the strategy is getting a bunch friends together to let him get all of the kills, defends, etc. He would not being using "we" and "our" if this was not the case.
He utilizes teamwork, which is an effective way of utilizing the current system in place for operations/tournaments. Obviously he is coinciding with a full squad, check the colors on the mini-map, not to mention the way they run consistently as a single unit around Arkaden capping points. I believe at some point he talks about how he consistently runs with full parties - people he trusts and can depend on, an entirely reasonable strategy.
There should be truly "lone wolf" playlists where mercenary rules apply and parties are not allowed, and maybe some day there will be (perhaps after Clan Ops launch?), but until then this is considered a legitimate strategy (noting Arkaden) because the team is working together.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised if he sold the Jeep and split the winnings with his teammates.
Obviously he won't show gameplay where his teammates don't do anything and let him get all the defends, kills, tags, etc. According to Beachhead, that is a form of boosting and should be reported.
Anyway, you completely ignore the biggest problem with the video which is him getting a mysterious +37 after capping a flag. This happens not once, but twice in the video. Makes me wonder if he has some sort of hack where capping one flag counts as multiple caps.
the team is actively working together - they're all capping the flags, they're all scoring kills, they're all moving as a single unit - that's not boosting. Boosting is definied as any tactics which undermine the spirit/integrity of the game - something thats not competitive. While this is kind of a vague definition, I'm sure the investigators he talks about take the time to analyze specific cases.
Is it boosting if your whole team is hiding in a corner while you run around the map 1v6, with more enemies to kill, giving you an advantage? Probably.
Is it boosting if your whole team is moving together with riotshield in a big spartan shield wall while you follow with an an acr? Probably not.
And never mind the "hack" you're thinking about - you can SEE him score about 50-60 captures in a single Arkaden game. At that rate, It would be easy to rake in a thousand caps in an Operation period.

I did not SEE him get 50-60 captures in the Arkaden game. Did you watch the same video I did?
my bad yeah he only gets 20 - but thats still a lot in what, 5 minutes? lets say he plays at that pace for the duration of the period and give him 7mins per match (using expediated lobby times based on how he quits immediately after the final kill)
300mins (op duration) / 7 min games = (approx) 25 games x 20caps per game = 500 caps
this is generous, and you can see in operation 588 https://elite.callofduty.com/compete/operations/view/588 oTradeMark scores only 341 and takes 2nd.
My numbers were a little mixed there - 1000 caps in a dom op WOULD be pretty ridonkulous.

To be exact he got 21 captures in 10 minutes. About 20-30 seconds of the video he stops showing the game and shows how to report cheaters. So the game time is closer to 9:30, however, it takes 20-30 seconds to gather your group together and get into another lobby. Who says that next lobby won't have the intermission timer/ be in the middle of a game? So I am going to say it is 10 minutes per a game for the numbers. Personally, I think finishing games in 12 minutes would be more resonable based off lobbies and intermission.
180 mins (most ops are only 3 hours long)/ 10 min games = 18 games x 21 caps = 378 caps under ideal situations
Remember this is under the most ideal situations where you are getting into a lobby that is just about to start game (hard to do with a full party often times you will be stuck creating your own lobby with a full 1 minute timer.) Secondly, 21 caps every single game is hard to pull of consistently because from my experience when my team takes a huge lead the enemies will stop going for captures and just go for kills. Not once during the entire video did a player on the enemy team decide to break the circle flow. B is the most important on almost all maps and thus enemies would tend to go for that over constantly following the patter of C, B, A, C, etc. Often times enemies will go for C, then try to cap B and hold those two. They won't even go for A as it will lead to screwing up spawn points.
On a side note you need to learn math. 300/7 = ~43 not 25.
you're right - but 180/7 = 25 (must have been a typo where I was thinking 3 hours and typed 300 instead of the obvious 180 [60x3])
You're right, there are a lot of discrepencies in this kind of game mode with this strategy. My calculations were too generous.
Considering you guys are all talking about me I felt I would join in on the conversation... I don't know why the +37 points happened on that dom cap... but now I know where all the comments asking about it in my video came from.
I lost that operation by like 40 captures. I was just posting games from different operations so people could start thinking "outside the box" on what is actually required to win these operations.
you get 37 points a cap when you cap so many points in a certain time.... You can only do it on the small maps

Besides, I lost that operation by like 40 captures. I was just posting games from different operations so people could start thinking "outside the box" on what is actually required to win these operations. Also the "numbers" you are spitting out are completely false and based upon nothing but assumptions. That game was one of my best during that operation, not the average.
In regards to all of this talk about "WE" yes I play certain operations with a team. This is not anything I have ever tried to hide. It is in the elite FAQ's that playing with your teammates is allowed.
This is just another lack of insight on both IW and Beachhead's part. When the lone wolf operations were taking place back during the B.O. BETA, we had opened a support ticket (the only way to communicate with the Elite guys) suggesting that Lone Wolf operations should be run in a Mercinery playlist. Obviously, like many other suggestions this was discarded, ignored or just plain never read or understood. We had two guys win "Golden Tickets" to the COD:PROM and quickly acknowledged that the system was indeed broken.
So what they have now is a joke of a competitive structure that promotes a form of somewhat legal boosting. But it is not honorable, simply because every competitor is not afforded the opportunity of doing what guys with willing teams can do.
I would like to think that Beachhead is being prudent with holding back on Clan Operations at this point because they attempting to develop a better structure for these competitions to run under, but I am skeptical to say the least.
I agree 100% and I wouldn't be surprised if things chaned once we know whats going on w/ clan ops.
Unfortunately, idk what kinds of "decision makers" you may have been talking to through the customer support system...?
It is not honorable? Are you serious right now? Don't push some imaginative moral code upon me because I play an operation with a team which isn't against the rules.
I will be the first person to admit that Lone Wolf Operations should move to a locked mercenary playlist with join in progress disabled, but until BHS & IW/SH decide to do that I will play to win... and do that within the bounds of what BHS has deemed fair.
It is like listening to my old High schoolfootball coach!!!! LMAO.

What should really be introduced is a competition playlist. In this playlist the intermission can be reduced to 15 seconds instead of 60 seconds. Also tac inserts can be disabled during this time. Mercenary rules or team rules doesn't matter after you take away the tac inserts. Plus people playing in the competition can report players that are boosting/cheating while playing against them. And it would be easier for the reviewers to go through the videos and catch the cheaters.
If he "supposedly" won this jeep then why is he talking about winning wicked defender matches when he mentions it? Seems how the Jeep was for core tdm that makes no sense...
Actually, the COD XP Jeep Showdown in the beta was a Domination Defends event... and this video showcases many different gametypes because I have won operations related to several different gametypes.
As PSNsniggler brought up, is there any explanation as to why he gets +37 in the game? There is no combination of anything that happens in the game that would give you an odd amount of points like that. It also makes me feel like everything is not on the up and up.
I have no idea - in the comments he mentions he doesn't know and assumes it's some kind of glitch. I'm inclined to agree, I don't think he's hacking.
It should also be noted that this guy uses scuf controllers which is a modded controller that has extra buttons. That right there, although technically is not illegal (mainly because they cannot catch you using it), tells me he essentially cheats for his rankings in competitions.
LMAO it is obvisous that this guy has a no recoil glitch too. Look at the mp9's in the video, mine jump a hell of lot more than that. Then on to the mp7, i wish mine was that steady also. This guy is a cheater and if they can't see that they are plan stupid. This guy is like a broken record saying the same **** over and over.
seems like a mecenary playlist for each operation would fix all of this
have you ever earned all specialist perks, noob?
You realize that the SCUF and Razer Onza both utilize mechanical ehancements? not electronic or software enhancements?
I'm not using some rapid fire mod or "no recoil" glitch as you conspiracy theorists would like to believe.
PS... I thought this thread was longer... I see that it is pretty much just PSNsniggler hating on me post after post.
I don't know what I did to upset you so much... but your assumptions about me are off based...
Keep drinking your haterade.
Maybe because no one's interested in your borefeast....moving on....bye!
Cool, I can quote information too:
Info: Playing Lone Wolf Operations with Friends
Yes, you can play with your friends in Lone Wolf Operations; however, competitors must not undermine the spirit and integrity of the game mode. Please be aware that only your stats will count towards the Operations and we will be checking for any collusion or cheating with your friends.
Artificially elevating a player's score by having players on the other team let you get kills, defends or caps is boosting... Working with players on your own team with everyone going for an objective is not.
Considering I have won 6 championships and dozens of prizes I'm pretty sure I'm not doing anything they classify as Boosting.
Respect for you(r) team gameplay!
Only strange thing is the 37 cap points u got ?
But know they changed the Terms and you cant win anymore 1000k price's only 1 once a year, what do you think about that?
