Why torture yourself? Lag compensation is insane. Look, I could ignore ANY other problem in this game. I'd be glad, if the developers would say "This is the last patch for Modern Warfare 3, it fixes lag compensation and nothing more". Even THAT would be fine. Even if everyone else would run with Type-95, spamming EMP and Stealth Bomber. Even with retarded spawns. I can ignore anything else apart from lag compensation.

But what are developers doing? They're trying to overbuff the shotguns. Why not fix the real problem first?

They can't even tell us the truth about what is going on and keep us in the loop on these forums about whats going on. Atleast treyarch did that. We knew what the patches did and when they were coming. They started putting patch info on here and just stopped.

Call of Duty series developers suffer from Megalomania. They think just because their games sell a lot, the games are fine. And they have no incentive to do anything apart from paid DLC after release.

Maybe you're right but let's face it. There is no other shooter out there that compares to COD. All my friends play BF3 and I join them more often but it's really bad. Lag is there but you don't recognize it because of bad graphics and low framerate. Hell I would say BF looks worse than MW2 and that's two years old. I might play MW2 or try if 3Arc finally got their lag stuff fixed but you know how it is with old stuff. Fun to play a few rounds but there's nothing new to aquire. And other shooters? I'm not into Halo and even though there are other MPs that might have potential they never have a chance to get their player numbers up. Check XBL Top 20 and you see 4 COD games. So I would prefer IW fixing this game because every other solution would be sub-par.
